May 1, 2011 at 11:32 pm #200449Hahhhhaha I’ve worked it out!!!! It was Osama Bin Laden………and he got got his arse shot off in the process. It wasn’t a backfire at all.
May 1, 2011 at 11:39 pm #200455It appears Pea Heart maybe a little hard cause the cry baby just spoke with me and said so :pinch:
So it here is my heartfelt apology saying that Pea heart while only really trying to draw the person out of hiding was maybe a little hard  I am sorry for calling the cry baby a pea heart I truly amPlease accept my apology again
Even if he said “it was only 20m from home any further and I would have rang for the trailer” that doesn’t mean he is a pea heart people ok back offRemember I only posted this because it was a scoop that I posted because I was a quiet news day here
A sorry TB
May 2, 2011 at 10:37 am #200456Well it appears that even though the bike pusher is following the thread as such and laughing but he won’t fess up. Oh the shame in pushing your bike home after you run out of fuel or have the fuel switched off as it must be in this case. Why else would it start ( he isn’t known for warming bikes up ) and run for 30 odd metres being his drive way and the 20 down the street, the backfire would be the engine leaning out as it ran out of fuel  he would run further on a swig of fuel.
Embarrassed now I reckon more than shame

May 2, 2011 at 2:14 pm #200466So who was the clown?
May 2, 2011 at 2:23 pm #200470Jeffro there are so many clues given in the thread including a ripper in my previous post I can’t credit he told me, is such a good story it should be in the newspaper I reckon :cheer:
He won’t come clean but eh, the fuel had to be off and he is embarrassed I reckon

The only emarrassment they would be experiencing would be from, being silly enough to confide in you about the incident in the first place, I would suggest.
Since working out for myself who it was, your rendition of events are a little off the mark TB.

Well as you have stated before I have a good memory and as has been told to me I I can only think it had the fuel off easy mistake we have all made it.
It was claimed they wiggled the plug cap but really why would it go 30 metres then stop  really come onEvery other thing I will defend based upon what was told to me if you wish to debate it may the person in question if they are embarrassed should fess up. I have fessed up to my f&$k ups like cracking my sump plug etc we all do, maybe he should stop throwing boggie clues  And smoke screens

May 2, 2011 at 2:51 pm #200472Oh Mick the shame the shame.
May 2, 2011 at 2:57 pm #200473Actually I did the same thing once on my old TT600, got 200 meters from home and she stopped so kicked the shit out of it and nothing so started pushing it home. Got about halfway back before I realised what I had done (idjit) and to top it all off they were doing street works and it all happened in the middle of it with the workmen (and I use the term loosely) watching me.
(i’m still an idjit)
May 2, 2011 at 3:02 pm #200474It was 200m Jeffro as well not 20 as I typed  But the claim is it was the fuel off

May 2, 2011 at 3:13 pm #200475Again I would like to say the cry baby and the pea heart was only to get the person to come clean as he normally bites well and arent excatly how I would describe the person

May 2, 2011 at 3:14 pm #200476Mick???? What???? Mick???? Surely not, it couldn’t be.
We have all done it, I did it at stroud with 28 other bikes waiting for me to get my shit together only to have someone point out that my fuel was off.  :blush:But Mick ???? Really????
Wow.May 2, 2011 at 3:21 pm #200477OK a fella best come forward and defend himself, before TB’s Kangaroo court makes a complete fool of me.
THE FUEL WAS MOST DEFINATELY 100% TURNED TO THE ON POSITION. (I even tried reserve)
The reason I chose to push the bike home is because, all this happened right in front of the police station and the XR is currently in bush trim (regoed but no blinkers, mirrors etc). I saw no point in sitting in front of the cop shop kicking the shit out of the XR bringing constable Blogs attention upon me. Although after the big back fire she let rip,I presume he was hiding under his desk.
The only explaination for it is that I drained the carby last night and found small bits of debris in the fuel. It has done 10,000 trouble free KM since I last checked the valve clearance too, so I might give her the once over before Sofala.
Word of advice to all of you, don’t tell TB anything. He gets bored easily and looks for mischief to create.May 2, 2011 at 3:27 pm #200478Ouch that hurts Mick, you wouldnt do the same really
