This was the first time i have led a ride and to be honest i was as toey as a young fella about to touch his first boob.the day started out well with everyone turning up on time.riders for the day were aido,my 2ic menace, choppa, ranga, marty and john.Once ranga finally got his dirty honda going we headed out at a cracking pace and the the warmup loop went without a hitch, conditions were ideal for a quick ride and we all went for it.at the first smoko break i took my gloves off to show the boys how much my hands were shaking from the nerves of leading.menace gave me some soothing words and we took off again. The morning loop went without a hiccup due to the superb conditions and we decided to head to the pub for lunch. On the way to the pub we came across a group of people from the canine harness association with there dogs hitched up to scooters about to race around the bush,WTF  Lunch at the pig and whistle hotel wasnt up to its usual standard due to new owners but you cant be to fussy when your in the middle of nowhere.menace took over lead on the ride back (Thanks mate) and gave me a breather. The ride home had some quite funny moments due to some rutted out water features that i hope menace has on video. All up it was a great day and i thank all the boys for coming out.menace will post video in his report. Cheers aido VTB.
April 29, 2010 at 2:50 am #177068Sounds like you had a great day Adrian, Menace told me about this ride but there was no way I could ride the bike for more than 10 minutes the way my leg is at the moment. I went out on the crusier on the Monday and had a great ride, the only problem I encountered with that was I could not use my rear brake….
When is Menance going to put the vid’s up” He is at home doing stuff all…..just slack..

May 4, 2010 at 2:04 am #177228Hi fellas, sorry about the late reply as I have been looking after my old man who is sick in hospital again. It was actually an awesome day, and an awesome ride!!!!!
John’s XR 400 and is now a beast after his engine rebuild (and stage 1 kit), which means the mighty XR now goes like a bat out of hell!!!
Aido – John and I had plans to go out again on sunday, but had to abort the ride because of my situation with dad. I will call you as soon as we go out again..
Hey Menace – good luck with the RAAF application, and give up the smokes! Hey where are the photos and video from our ride mate?
