Bet that SUCKS! ey, get it?:P    :silly:

they do make a bearing packer, basically 2 sort of funnel shaped plastic cups, the bottom one has a threaded tube out of it with a grease nipple on it, the other cup has a nut in the middle,

you put the bearing onto the thread down to the bottom, screw the top cup on and pump grease into it. i have one BUT not used it yet, so i don’t know how good it works at doing the job properly.

to date i’v done it “Old school, hard core”.

if you don’t like greasy hands wear a pair of rubber gloves.

Raise bike on stand so you can fit a 4×2 under front wheel. Take steering head nut off, grab front wheel and lift and take out 4×2 wheel on ground exposes lower bearing check and repack with greese.take top bearing and seal out, grab wheel lift back up and place 4×2 under wheel, check repack top bearing and replace seal, replace steering head nut and washer and your done.

Karma for that great post mate, top stuff! :)

you should get one of them bikes that have greece nipples on their swing arms..Ohhhhhhh that would be a DRZ:woohoo: 😆

*option 1-buy a bike that is heavy, underpowered, uninspiring, steers like a tank on steriods and undersuspended just so you could get those exposed nipples as part of the package.

*option 2- keep your race replica/inspirsed motorcycle that is light, handles well, has nice suspesion and good power for its class and while you have it apart, drill, tap and fit grease nipples into the outer parts, being carefull to not induce any bind or nip points.

Boony you a funny man, and sorta a little bit sad too:P
