WR 450 / 250 Safari Tank

I have a Safari tank in White / Translucent that is surplus to my needs , it has not done much work , in fact most of it’s life has been spent sitting in my shed and the shed of a good mate , it has done the Canning stock route and a few other rides but is in good nick . It was expanded via the proven method of hot water and a bicycle pump to hold around 17 litres , it may have shrunk back to the standard 15.5 litres but I’ll leave the measuring up to the new owner . I am selling it because I have 2 , the other one holds a couple of litres more so I will keep the larger one for my use .

This tank fits the alloy framed 450’s and 250’s without fuel injection .

G’day Ollie ,

That one in the Avatar is a 250 , as is mine , I love the torquey motors on the Husky’s of that era , you don’t have to rev the ears off them to make them really haul . I had an 85 240 as well , my brother took it for a spin back then , got off it and looked around it and said ” I can’t see it , but there is a rocket in there some where ” .

The tank is still available for sale Ladies and Gentleman .
