Wr 450f 2007 one for the safari fans!!

As the Ad states this bike finished 2nd outright in the Australian Safari in 2007.
Great bloke and ‘awesome mechanic’ one of the best in the business, credited with building multiple Safari winners and regular podium finishes to his list of mechanical achievements
Anyone familiar with the ‘safari crowd’ wont take long to figure out who the ‘spanner man’ in question is ????
this is his personal ride.
I have ridden this beast and can vouch for it’s condition and performance, (made me buy one soon after!!!!!)

This bike finished 2nd outright in the 2007 Australasian Safari proving itself as a fast and reliable bike!
From new bike was completely stripped, checked over and all bearings and pivots greased.
Oil and filter was changed daily during the event as well as valves checked and routine chassis and filter maintenance.
After the event bike was again stripped, new crank fitted, piston, valves and gearbox inspected with all necessary engine and chassis parts replaced.
Bike has done around 2000km since.

Barrett muffler
Devol radiator guards
Oversize front brake disc
MSC bar rise kit- ready for damper to be fitted
2 spare rear sprockets (made by Chain Gang)
Custom seat with extra padding
Rego till early March 2012
Speedo shows 0km as has always had an after market rally trip meter fitted.
Genuine rear wheel is about 300km old, as has always had a cush drive wheel fitted.$7,800 ono
Also available (at extra cost) is a moulded 7L rear fuel tank made in Australia by “Safari”
