You guys must be heavy on the go pedal. It took me 5.5hrs from Dubbo to the Central Coast for the Murphsburg via Cessnock. Dubbo to Lithgow 3.5 hrs.

From Murphs to Macksville would be approx 3.5 hours, so all up 9 hours as stated.

    Hey Corey,

That sounds great! At this stage i will be working at the Rally in the ARC (Australian Rally Championship) section. It will be a great spectacle to see. The Current WRC Cars are pretty awesome to watch. Wish I could be there with you blokes though.

    Cheers,

    Lefty

So after a meeting last night where the community could voice there views on the WRC coming to town i am now excited as hell. first i want to tell a story about 2 things that stood out in the meeting.
1 -when the rally guy was asked what about the wild life he responded with saying koalas are very cute but intercoolers are very expensive so they are all over the coars picking out spots to make sure they don’t break any intercoolers.

2 -old people were complaining about the road conditions as the are now and he responded with ” our suspension cost around $50000 so we can’t feel the dumps so don’t worry about it.

So the road will be closed from 5am saturday morning so you will need to be there before this. i am thinking Friday is a better day to get there and way. i plan on looking into hiring a portaloo as i don’t have the pine forset of sunny corner.

thinking friday night fend for your self for dinner and on saturday as we are all locked in i could do bacon and egg rolls for breaky, sausage sandwhichs for lunch and will do a bbq for dinner.

Now all this is just ideas being chucked around and i would need to work out a cost of all this as long as every one is willing to throw in some $$$$.

Please if any one has sugestions please let me know as i wouldn’t mind a bit of help to make this a good social event for OBT as well

    Corey,,,
I am interested for sure, sounds like a great father, son / kids weekend ;)
Plus a good Old Bulls social event to boot

Can you clarify if we need to pay thru ticketek for passes, or are they free because of your property mate ??? ;)

I need to check the sons soccer calendar (I think he would need to make another Final to still be in the game)
Maybe he can just miss it this year for the chance to watch some WRC guys hoot past hey :woohoo: :woohoo:

I have no probs chipping in for the BBQ etc for the weekend mate,,, You & me will not cook this time though hey

Will check with the bosslady tonite & get back to you soon mate ,,,,

    Cheers

The Sunday stage is being held in the state forest the Coffs ride was held in. I am still getting the details on the route but it looks like they won’t be using the Widow maker. Just an idea but with my knowledge of the forest we could possibly spectate from the bikes for the Sunday stage. :woohoo:

    STM

Im liking the sound of that as an opportunity to ride and watch the best drivers in the world fang around the forest:woohoo:
