    Hey Boony,

It is our 19th wedding anniversary on the same weekend. The missus loved the idea of me and Connor going away. She got rid of us both and wont be pressured for “anniversary marital duties”….

It’s an easy trade a whole weekend of piece and quiet. Doubt the minute or so of the other even entered her mind she probably sleeps through it anyway

I will be there Corey, the young blokes have a school excursion that doesn’t get back early enough it seems for them to make it so I think I will make and ADV ride up there on the Thursday and Friday

    No worries TB.

Ok i had a few questions on the weekendabout ticket cost and so forth. Well if you want to pay the $70 or so thats online then knock your self out OR come to my place and pay a small fee of $10-$15 to cover the price of the portaloo and all is sweet.

Ok so after throwing a few ideas around i have decided you can all fend for your self on the food front and i will just supply the BBQ and i do have a couple of eskys if you are like TB and riding up and yes TB we can duck back into town in my car and pick up a carton.

Road closes at 5am saturday morning so be here friday arvo/night or don’t bother making the drive.

but please start throwing down your confirmed numbers so i know how much land to mow for your tents

I will probably see you all there.

    Not for camping though.

I have volenteerd to help and have been told our job is to drive the whole track after the event and pick up all the signs and safety tapes etc.

I will wave as I go pastB)

You need an OBT Flag flying

Our reward for this is officials passes that get us into I believe all spectator points for the whole rally.( or something like that )

Ok so mick is stealing every one to go sweeping for the day by the looks of it. we are now less then a month away so numbers would be nice to have down and by the looks of it there will not be a big OBT presents there.

Sorry Corey8. Shorter distance/riding/ riding with pros/ and riding with the AORC riders won me over. Bugger that it was on the same dates. Axel I am not going with you now. :P
Thanks for the offer to throw open your premises for the OBT crew. I may look to do something similar with the Bathurst 1000.
    Cheers Galey

Hmmm now thats changed things. I would rather not go on my own for a number of reasons. If anyone is going up that way still let me know otherwise that weekend has just become free for a ride…

    #207287

Ok last time i am going to ask if any one is keen. $10 to cover portaloo and bring your own food. please let me know and all those others please confirm or i could just say hey TB you still coming?

    #207777

Sadly I will be in WA working (if they ever get my flight organised, I am meant to be leaving today), otherwise I would have been interested.

Corey I wont be attending your event or the AORC or jack that weekend mate. Firstly I tore the left side foot peg of the Tenere racing Dee Jay hardcore through a single trail and clipped a rock :( Brian from Team Moto Blacktown is chasing the foot peg mount for me now but I am sure it will be OS I was planning on riding that up. I am short on brownie points, well even shorter after not coming home Saturday night :pinch: and Lochie (my son) now unable to go with me has axed that excuse
I apologise because I know what its like to organise and be excited about an event and have it fall through, in reality you should focus blaming / hating Mick for taking the bulk of your turn out mate

No worries TB, to be honest i am shocked by the lack or should i say no OBT people coming as motor sport peole i thought people would jump on it but her there you go

I think that the bikes won on the day Corey,,,, Like TB said, BLAME MICK
Pity though as you have tried to organise a great weekend at your place  Thats how it goes I suppose hey ???

I am prepping for a family holiday mate, hence my unavailability (I was keen as mustard at first though)
Did consider riding up with TB, but that isn`t an option now anyway (I am out of brownie pts too)

    Cheers

Oh im jumping, but being a solo old bull driving on my own for 10 hours to impose on someone i havent met yet is not my style. I blame Galey coz we had some car pooling organised but yes it looks like bikes win out again. Looks like next year for me. Cheers for the offer Coley
