    Do the torpedo ones get your bike wheels off the ground. 85mm of lift only, I reckon it would be touch and go. 310mm high when down might not fit under the bike either. I would be checking before purchase. They are not so cheap if they don’t do the job or need to be modified.

    Good point Bundy, the Whipps for example has 3 adjustments suits all bikes from a wee strom to the 530 but again what you pay for :laugh:

    The Torpedo7 lift stands are excellent, I know 3 people that have them and they work well, the one with the shock is nice for lowering the bike back down without busting your knuckles under the foot peg.

    I have a steel one that I paid about $140 for about 10 years ago and the Torpedo7 ones seem to be the same quality but only time will tell. For $30 you could buy 5 and if they only last a couple of years each just throw them away.
