Seen a XR 250 2 stroke bike today on the A Team, is this bike real or is it just hollyweed being inventive again??????
December 18, 2010 at 9:59 am #192950I doubt it Boony. No one would put a perfectly good 2 stroke engine in an XR and talk about  . Let alone put it on telly. Must have been early CGI and sound effects.
The ‘A’ team rocks. Man they got some stuff done in there day.
December 18, 2010 at 10:04 am #192958yeah boony ive heard the 2 stroke noise 4 stroke bike and if you notice as well they fit them with a 18 speed roadranger cause they just keep changin gears

December 18, 2010 at 11:46 am #192952Just remembered another example of incredible engineering that the government is obviously keeping unde wraps. The road tire that sprouts knobs on tom cruisEs speed tripple in the documentary mission impossible 2.

When I started reading this thread Terminator 2 did spring to mind. XR80/100 2stroke with 1000 gears.
December 20, 2010 at 9:49 pm #193044How about McGuyver, he had an episode riding a (from memory) XL250 that sounded for all the world like a 2-banger!
Ah, McGuyver, was there anything he couldn’t fix with a swiss army knife, a 50-cent piece and some baling twine?

Edit: Here ’tis:
December 20, 2010 at 10:14 pm #193108Did he just throw a rope around a spinning rotor and rip it of by hand while sitting on a motorbike

December 20, 2010 at 11:10 pm #193110I’ve often thought that some of America’s bike are different to ours ie 2 stroke XR’s cause of watchin them in movies.
December 20, 2010 at 11:25 pm #193112What about the cars in the fast and furious movies, they all seemed to have a thousand gears and a million revs to play with
