Nice VID TB and Dr Nick
Just a couple of quick questions. For me My XR650R is mainly used for commuting from Hornsby to The city about 60 KM a day. I have an alloy plate installed instead of Original Plate/s.
1.would this mod be beneficial for my purpose or would I be better off leaving it in> Im happy with the power it makes, but dont want bits sucked into the engine Either. Answered it yourself the bits in the engine ids the drama, Nick need say about the one piece ones during the video, PS alloy would worry me more because vibrations and alloy don’t mix
2. How much of a power gain is created by removing the restrictions ? Haven’t measured it cant hurt
3. Do you lean it to the right like Nick said or to the left pivoting on the stand like TB said? Tested both ways, stand to the left works as well and is easier
cheers Ollie
