Just a question regarding my XR400 2003 mod My bike feels ok but its a bit on the soft side I weigh just under 80 kilos without gear and ride at a usual pace.Im not a racer or an enduro legend but I wan’t my xr to feel like the wr250f that I use to have so my question is how much will it cost me to set the xr up as my budget is limited,I can bring the bike in or just the forks.Does the rear spring need to be replaced as well? The bike was used by the cops before I purchased it 3 years ago and I have never done anything to it other than turning the screws all the way to hard. Can you give me an idea about how much it costs to do Iam not afraid to get my hands dirty but I don’t know much about bike suspension set up or repair  thanks in advance

    Hi Jason,

We can certainly help you with your XR400. The standard fork springs and shock spring are too light for you rider weight and will need to be upgraded to suit. We have a compression upgrade for the front forks which will make them handle and respond so much better than what you are currently experiencing. We would also revalve the shock to match and provide you with a ride that is more like what you have experienced in the past with other bikes. The rough cost for the complete job is $1100.00. If you have any questions or concerns please do not hesitate to contact me in the office on 02 4732 2626

    Brad
