Sorry Puddles…If you didn’t have at least 600cc’s you would have struggled, there were lots of high speed stuff involved. We wanted to get out and have the big girls stretch their legs a bit.:woohoo:
We were in Cathie at one stage too.As a matter of fact we seemed to be everywhere today!!

The biggest surprise of the day wasnt Mick’s improved pace or how fast Ol Purple was, but the fact that when we got home, I washed my bike and Mick didnt wash his? I offered him the gear, the pressure washer was out

At that stage I was considering ridng the XR as a sweep rider today and I did’t see any point in washing it last night. As it turns out I didn’t ride it today, but I washed it along with Connor’s bike this arvo after the races.
The XR is looking the goods, standing in the shed. BTW I am lucky it is recycling week here, as I even filled next door’s wheelie bin with empty bottles!!

I can now see myself camping at Point Plommer with surfboard, fishing rod and now with the bike as well. I love it there.

Ha was just reading about the beach riding, once we left the beach Mick’s riding style in the wheel ruts caused by the 4×4 is worth a mention, walking pace, legs out wobbling along  And Moose’s crash was because Mick stopped

All the bikes rocked up the dune, and then we went down a dune ledge, it was as about as steep as sand will hang, I did the most ugly looking descent you have ever seen

It was a blast and we will do it again next year, but we will be adding and extra 20kms into it on the Brisbane run

How good is life in Wauchope! :cheer: Firstly thanks to Bull,Kezza&family for their hospitality on the long weekend,as well as puddles& Kell for making things happen.
Then after sherbets & XR mechanicing in Micks shed Friday arvo a shakedown ride for the new 650 was hatched. The torrents of abuse Mick & T.B can hurl at each other while working on the same bike had everybody in stitches!
Loved the reports & piccies boys, couldn’t believe Mick getting straight up to speed as soon as we hit the dirt. Thanks T.B for the ride on the firebreather. A fine machine thats well set up. Lol at you yahooing on old Burple.
Thanks for the company and adventure fella’s.Can’t wait for the Syd/Bris ride now.
