Hi all, seeking contact info on any known XT660Z Tenere’s being wrecked anywhere in Australia as I am seeking a used swingram to replace my badly damaged unit.

Any help would be forever (or at least this week) appreciated.

Nice work. Out of interest how much was a new one? I’m scared to ask. ..

I was also too scared to find out jtb! My guess would have been in the $1000 to $2000 range.

The damaged one could have been fixed if absolutely nec.

A good used one was my first preference.

Hi TB, I just posted the cause of my Swingarm problem in the Cush Drive Mod page.

I hope I made it plain enough that I accept all responsibility for the resultant damage.

Your price guesstimation would have been mine…

For anyone interested, I received the swingarm from Hills Motorcycle Wreckers last week a couple of days after placing the order.

Apart fom being pretty dirty per the pic of the wreck jtb supplied, the part was in great knick albeit some scratches to the paint which are pretty normal on any wrecked bike.

The bearings were surpisingly perfect and from the wear marks on the bearing sleeeves I would guestimate the wrecked bike had only done around 5000 klms.

For anyone wanting bits left give Dave at Hills M/C Wreckers a call.

I now also have my new cushdrive hub and bits and plan on hitting the trails for a ride on Sunday. Woohoo!
