Yamaha’s Rule…. I have just spent the week at conandale for rounds three and four of the AORC ( Australian off road champs) and of course the better team won both days…..
Round three Chris hollis of the Ballard’s yamaha offroad team won with fellow ballards team member Jarryd Bewley coming in second and third went to GHR honda rider Peter Boyle…
Round 4 First Chris Hollis making that 9 outright wins in a row this season. Second Peter Boyle and Third A J Roberts.

I am gunna do some name dropping here. Chris (I can ride real good) Hollis, is my cousin!!!
You wouldn’t get a nicer guy to represent motorcycle racing. He does his best to make it to most meetings at our club, where you can imagine ,he is the local hero as he comes from Wauchope.
He talks to all the young kids and does his best to encourage them.
He has just come back from the Erzberg rodeo in Austria, I haven’t at this stage been able to find out how it went for him. He is certainly someone to watch.

Trailboss, was talking to Glen today and checking out the bikes that are going, 2 trucks, 2 trailers something like 14 or 17 bikes. He also has a crf 450x for sale at the moment which you will see tomorrow sounds like a good deal for someone!

Yes i was a guest of Geoff Ballards and all the the yamaha ballard team. I was lucky enough to get work experience there for the week and on the the thursday of that week i was helping geoff pack his trailer for the meet and
he said “wat are you doing for the weekend”
    i said “nothing”
he said “well now your coming to QLD for the race meet ring your parents” and of course i did and they were a bit funny and i ended up going, leaving five minutes later….
I spent the weekend with the team and as that bloke said Chris hollis is a real champ, really nice bloke, so are all the team mates there all really good for the sport.
