Right, typing this for the 4th time now!!
Sorry for the late report boys, slack I know.
Anywho, after mustering sheep on the agg bikes with Mac’s B.I.L we headed up to Tottenham on Fri arvo. Met with TB and Chicken, had a beer and meat off the spit, and an early night.
Sat morn- Up early to prep and gear up.
Prologue- slick conditions and butterfly’s made for some interesting moments around the 4k circuit! But I came in 67th, the other boys positions posted by Mac and TB, all doing pretty well.
Watching the top place getters head off was impressive to say the least, not backing off an inch going into the first right hander. But when our time came, there was a well defined track…..and not a bloody chance in hell of catching those bastards!!
A big high side amongst the pines saw me winded and a half broken lever! Two of the three guys I had passed returned the favour! Lost a lot of time there.
After the second fuel stop I was knackered! Couldn’t even hold over 100 kmh on the straights, lost even more time! (think this is Madmacs had his big off!)
Lots of shit shooting with the boys at the Condo MX track camp- really good chat with TB, Chicken and Crash. But after a couple of beers, more spit meat and a well deserved shower it was off to bed!
Sunday- Up early again, fire stocked, bike prepped, arse crack powdered, geared and good to go! 95 start today, but had a good pace, passing 3 guys before the first fuel stop. More relaxed on the straights, able to carry 130+ kmh. A small encounter with a soft rut berb had me dusting myself off again (hurt shoulder) but kept on pace.
A big cheer from the boys at the woop di doo section, and on to the home stretch, through some of the most enjoyable riding of the weekend.
Rolling over the finish line at Tottenham in 78th, it was straight to camp for liquid refreshment!
The terrain covered was varied and covered everthing for everyone! From rocky technical hills, long wind out straights, fence jumps, tight scrub, sand, it made for a tough yet overall fun race. I would recommend it to all who want some fun competition and the chance to put it up to the big factory boys!

A big thanks to all the support crew, Glen and Ian worked that spit like no ones business! Was a very enjoyable weekend, apart from the few minor hurts! Was great to meet the OB crew, and will definitely be back next year for contention!!! Top 50 placing!

    Pics to come shortly..-Gili
