Mine would be my 92 Suzuki DR250, mostly for sentimental reasons. Went everywhere, did everything, comfy to ride. On the hunt for a DR350 to be my bush bike now! That said, I enjoyed my 07 WR250F.

My 1st rego’d bike at 15 years old was this Honda MTX and I couldn’t wait to turn 16 to ride the streets

This Baby was my first bike.
Wr250 Husky. yes its got a 390 Tank. Why is there no chrome on anything anymore.

It started everytime, after 3rd or 4th push.
Rattled and vibrated so much there was an aura around the sound of it.
Brakes, HA ………your kidding arnt you.
Foot pegs to die for ….to be honest, many a time they almost killed me they were so small and no grip on them.

But go….. Wahooo. This thing was raw and took off like a bullet. It was the scariest sport I had done, fully out of control & squinting so much just to get around the corners. I was hooked from that instant
What a bike to learn on.

It was kicking around in my shed for so long I almost gave it away. Am now crying while I write this. It should have been mounted in my living room.

Mine would have to be my trusty old SL 70.Taught me how to ride, even if i did have to ride it for 10 tears,(years),it could go about 60klph,even through barbed wire fences, with electric fence 3rd strand down, fluc that one hurt, rolled up in barb with 240 volts zapping as young dickhead tries to untangle himself, still have scars.think from memory pissed n shat myself.
(after nabiac museam ride,I donated/gave it to the boys there.will have to go back there for a run one day to check it out)
My xr75 was like a factory ride after 10 years on old faithful.
Shit they are all favourite rides while you have them,
wish i kept my collection,in hindsight.

That GSXR was rapid! Much more rapid than the 750 you had in the UK that wasn’t much faster than my 1992 VFR400

    I’ve had:

    Italjet 50
    Yamaya TY80
    Yamaha TY250
    Gas Gas JT350
    Gas Gas JT270
Cagiva Mito 125 (Ducati 996 Replica) “The Hand grenade”
    Honda VFR400
    KTM 450
    KTM 300
    Husaberg 570
    Triumph 675 Street Triple
    Yamaha IT175
    Yamaha XV750

The VFR400 is up there with the best bike I’ve owned, along with the 450 Kato B)

I wasn’t much into dirtbikes in my younger days and refered to them as “chook chasers”

I had a series of road bikes that started off with this little meanie RDLC that tried to kill me on several occasions.

    RD250LC.jpg

I then progressed through a few other road bikes up to my favourite bike that I wish I still owned now.

The mighty GPZ1100B1, man could that thing wheelstand!

Man I have had a heap of Bikes over the last 40+ years I guess my favourite bike would have to have been my New 92 Husky 360 :woohoo: went like a rocket, handled well, stopped turned and was very reliable. For Grin factor and sometimes shear terror my 85 KTM 500 MXC which my mate Rick had his right leg and knee smashed on. :S
Favorite roady would be the 88 Model CBR 1000F- just too easy to lose your licence on

    Great topic, get you thinking.
Would have to be Mr reliable 1994 XR 250.
Didn’t do anything very well but I owned it for 10 years, club raced in enduro and motocross and trailrode it as well.
Just do the airfilter each ride and put it away!! Get it out for the next ride and after 1 or 2 kick it was ready to be flogged again! ;)

I still own an ’89 model that I leave at the farm and a rego’d ’92 that just may see another run at sunny corner this weekend.
I rode ot at sunny corner last year and had a hoot
