STM, I know that hill, I have had to walk up it several times, I’m actually surprised it’s still there and not completely washed away…….

Remember someone (Dougie I think) had to push it in with the dozer in the first place……..

There is a hill out near Buladelah that Huskybloke took us down one time that rates too, like I said we went down it and it was probably the steepest hill I have ever ridden down and is littered with tall steep erosion mounds. I had the bike off but in gear and feet out using the clutch and brakes levers to control my decent and still managed to fall. Tore the watch off my wrist (steel band) and I didn’t even notice, one of the other blokes spotted it and brought it down with him.

Behind Lyndurst, south of Blaney CW NSW we go riding in the pine forests and there is only a little hill known as “Hectars”.

Its a bastard because there are a couple of ledges with a snotty surface. worse though is that you don’t get much of a run up because behind you is a creek so you have to goose it from the get-go. Walked the WR up a few times now.

I know I can get up there but it owns my mojo.

I think I know that hill. You cross a small creek then a slight right and straight up for about 200m? We go up it every year on a DSMRA ride. There is always lots of carnage on it.

We tried a hill on the recon ride on Saturday, it’s a prick of a hill, shale, sharp big ugly rocks. I made it ¾ of the way up and then watched Chicken and Wally Boy try to get up to where I was. Talking with Mal from Sutto’s on Saturday night he called it Mt Impossible  !! I can see why its named that its a shitty hill  I will be taking the Hampton riders out to it on the Saturday afternoon loop so people can have a go if they wish. I will buy a couple of Long necks to anybody that gets up it first or 2nd attempt. (they wont have anymore than two goes I reckon :P )

Thats it! I just threw up a bit in my mouth and my eye is starting to twitch just thinking about it.

  I know what you mean. It’s an intimidating to look at.

We had a guy on an XR650 this year just about spew in his helmet after 5 or 6 attemps and then he just got to the 3/4 mark where we were standing to give him a hand. He was shattered for the rest of the day. There’s some great riding in that forest though.
