Anonymousgreat photos but glad i didn’t go now. it kinda-a makes me feel sick thinking that one of my mates is out of action. i can’t believe the series of unfortunate events moto is experiencing lately.
i know i would struggle to cover that amoumt of km in 2 days off road without a crash

The riding is very easy, it becomes a mental thing is all. I was beside him when he crashed it was nasty but thats biking I reckon, it could have been REAL bad, thank god it wasnt we know the risks or we would play chess, Moto your move!. Will add some more photos and a story tonight
TB
PS he got home safe, you will hear from him today regarding the surgeon I would think Champo

December 8, 2008 at 5:20 am #113991Trailbike riding or Adventure riding as they like to call it “nowdays” is a great sport,
Its all about riding tracks that more often than not youv’e never seen before and you dont know whats coming up ahead, you get lost, you get wet, you get a sore arse and a lot more beside’s.
Sometimes you make it to your destination in the dark and sometimes you dont make it at all and have to compramise. But thats what its all about and this ride was no different.
I hope Tiny and Moto heal up fast and can come and play again soon!!This weekends ride was a real adventure and i enjoyed every minute thanks for having me along and i hope we can do it again in the new year.
PS Moto while the docs looking at your thumb, get him to take a look at those red scabby things on your arse, TB got a close up of them and said they looked very infected.

AnonymousHey guys
Well, I sit here typing one handed and preparing to go back to hospital tomorrow morning. I have broken my thumb in 4 places and ripped the tendon off the bone. I am having 2 screws and some wire inserted tomorrow to put it back to together.
We all crash at some point, I don’t really remember much of it. I do remember waking up and hearing TB saying ‘fu$%&ng hell, that’s the worst crash I’ve ever seen I thought he was dead’ over and over again :p
I’ll be back riding as soon as I can don’t worry about that
Cheers for all the help and support. Paticularly TB, Tracy & Champo
I had a great weekend with the boys and would do it again in a heartbeat
