AnonymousCheers boys, I’m sat in the hospital after getting out of recovery about half an hour ago. Everything seemed to go ok which is good news. Impressed with John Hunter and the doctor for getting me in so quick. It was serious enough for them to jump the queue for me
Do I win a prize for posting in the most amount of obscure places? :p
Ollie – They have given me (during the op) a local anesthetic for my thumb which lasts a few hours into this arvo. Other than self medicating myself with alcohol that’s all the painkillers I’ve had

Bugger that! OP Bundy or Inner Circle Black label (if you can still get it). Mix it if you like or be a hard bastard…either way, post-medication you won’t be able to get up to sh1t!!!

Chris. Thanks mate, I was surprised how little damage was done actually considering it was driven over by a car, and then possibly my trailer too  I have the smae laptop (slightly different spec) for work too. I’m nor Dell’s biggest fan but these units have been pretty good.
The pain relief i was given for my thumb wore off last night and my thumb hurts like holy hell again. Painkillers aren’t doing much
I’m at work trying to take my mind off it by doing other things than lounge around the house.

I have no idea mate. I have to go back to the hospital next Tuesday and might get an idea then. I reckon I’m out for a few months. Believe me, as soon as I can get back out and burning I will be.
I might buy a neck brace now though!:woohoo:
