March 15, 2010 at 10:27 pm #173122I need 3 PINK or totally different colored vests for our roving mid pack first aid / photographers. The vests need to be different as different to orange or green as we can get if we can.
Also we will run two sweeps that will be changed regularly and two leaders. Anyone with a hand held UHF will be encouraged to throw it in your camel back in case there is an extended delay
Please carry a spare front tube at least (will fit either end if required) and spare spark plug for your bike. Heavy duty tubes are recommended as it is rocky in spots or be prepared to supply beers to the sweeps or whoever helps you. Everybody will help everybody as is the OBT way so if you don’t have levers someone will but try and be as self supportive if you can.

March 16, 2010 at 12:48 am #173332Hi TB,
ooooooops I jumped the gun and I have double booked myself for that weekend and now won’t be able to come. Benjjy is still agoer but I’ll have to wait for the next one. sorry for the shuffling around. :S
March 16, 2010 at 12:52 am #173391Thanks to Hatto we now have 3 PINK vests for the first aid and Photographers.
Hatto is also providing his enclosed bike trailer for the swags / tents / sleeping gear to be carried in which could be handy in case of wet weather.ImportantAs far as the fuel side of things go if everybody can buddy up with someone and share a 20 liter Jerry Can that will provide enough fuel for two bikes at the overnight stop and reduce the number of Jerry Cans required to be carried by the support vehicle

March 16, 2010 at 11:51 am #173472I don’t have a buddy
, no friends at all.
March 16, 2010 at 12:06 pm #173474I am happy to pair up with anyone that owns a 20 litre can
March 16, 2010 at 1:24 pm #173475I’ll buddy up with TB. He will probably have the larger tank on and that leaves more for my bike as it loves the stuff.
There will probably be a secret fuel dump along the way. Once we pre run the whole ride and have exact kms, we can make sure there is enough fuel to go round.
It doesn’t matter to much, Crash and his super tanker are down for the ride. Really no need to take any jerry cans.
