1. Just gotta be coffs. I think next time I’m taking a week off so I can ride every day plus spend some time with the family in a brilliant location. Highlight following STM. He showed me where to hook in through some tacky single. Very fun
I did have 3 but for some reason only the first one comes up. I have cut and pasted them 3 times and have now given up.Merry Christmas everyone. I already know I have been good because I know Santa has got me some new fox riding pants and a top. Jees he’s a good bloke. Must be all those bourbons I left out for him;)
Yes that can be a bitch. Me and a mate were talking about that the other day. I think they have made it that short so if it is not lined up properly it won’t do up. I had trouble when I first got the bike but seeing I change it after every ride it is easy now. If the bolt wont do up push the filter onto the cage a bit harder and make sure of the alligent. The main thing I am careful about is not to tear the filter on the top opening of the hole on the side door. I also have the top of my air box cut out which helps with positioning if you take the seat off. I run cloth chux soaked in filter oil and that helps to protect the filter from the bulk of the dust. I do wonder if the problems crf’s have with valves and dusting are because people don’t fit it properly or don’t service the filter because it is a prick of a job. Will be interesting to see how mine last as I change the oil probably to much and am very particular about the air cleaner. Watch this space.
micknmeld wrote:Happy birthday Aaron. I was thinking of you today, as we did a hot run through Knodingbull Road this arvo. Our run through there back to Maxwell’s Flat is still one of the most memorable rides I have done.See you in Coffs.
Cheers
MickFunny that mick. I was thinking of you today when I was at Maisie’s gymnastics club championships. Wishing I was out riding. You would have been there done that. Oh well I did get to ride my new giant mountain bike which I love. Stm and I can swap pushy stories at coffs. Thank you to all those with birthday wishes. I can’t wait to have a birthday bourbon with all of you at Darlington park.
When I am in the market for tubes I always choose the one that they have behind the counter. It is the most convenient choice and I am very particular about making this decision to use that particular brand. They are always better than the one that is on my bike at the time which makes the decision very easy.
. I am definately getting déjà poo right now.

Yes nick you do seem to be unfortunate to have to put up with me and dude under similar circumstances allot. Sorry about that.
On a more serious note. Me kevdog and mat had a rolling drag in top on the crf’s and kevs rounded up mine and almost had its way with the 280 kitted one. For those that dont know the bikes kevs is stock. Mine has a complete procircuit pipe and was jetted. And mats has a 280 kit with a slip on exhaust. The engine was fresh from being done. There were lots of other variables ie rider weight etc. but this was a little unexpected. Wtf ??? All had stock gearing. Would have been good to see how your hot cams kitted one would have gone?? Thanks again for the ride on yours it was nice to see what I needed to do to mine.
I am working on getting my photos on here soon with a bit more of a report:) but I will say now thanks to all involved as I had a great time[quote
Boonys Ktm toweled them all up on the trails !
Just like Michael caton said on the castle. “Tell him he’s dreamin. “. Ha ha. But on a more serious note mr boony. You would think after 6200 odd posts you would know how to quote  😆 Mate even snowy who you could not foot was conspicuous by his absence when the race was run so NO CHANCE !!! 👿 :woohoo:

I made the mistake once of trying tinted lenses at woolgoolga and decided never again. So clear for me only.
