Man its like having my own team. :). Now I am getting excited. How cool does team red look now. I cannot wait to try the little red beast on some twisty pine single. I think the “how’s the serenity “. Could have gone out the window. It has been replaced by a red mist. ;). I think the quote from me about the ttr was ” tthe most fun I have had on a motorcycle”. Watching boon fire up when I would pass him in the tighter sections was priceless. Being hosed off by the drz on the straits was frustrating but short lived :) funny now that I am here the grass is greener on the other side best decision ever. Thanks for helping me make it.

The mx. Cams would probably be the go two banger :). I had the. 426 set to y z spec and it was lively in the tight stuff and I changed it as it was not as good as a trail bike. But on a 250 it might be just what the doctor ordered. The air box will be as open as sustainably possible Mr the king. ;) this will be my first electric legged trailbike so I think I can smell a recluse coming on. :).

That single looks great Chris. You must have your boingers dialed in pretty well as the camera vision was good over the rock sections. There was not much room for error with trees nice and close :pinch: Great video B) .

The biggest kit I have found is 280cc suppose that will be big enough??? Probably just make it unreliable… Very excited to have a ride. B)

Billy thought he saw a wombat go under the stump and had to lay the bike down to have a look. He must be a nature lover as he went flying into the scub on similar missions quite a few times! Matt then fills House in without trying and then we find who was holding the show up in the first place!!!! :cheer:

How fickle am I. First I said I wanted to stay loyal to my brand….. Fail! then I said I was not going to modify the engine / Exhaust…… Fail! Just got them to put a slip on on it and re jet the thing. Now I am looking for an 300 kit. 😆

Man you’ve changed, or at least your avatar has. Look forward to meeting you on the enduroX track with the new bike.

I will have an excuse this time as I will have only been on a 250 ;).

Thank you all very much you did help me decide that the color is not so important. (And that is why mine will come in Black plastics!!! )Also the service you get from your local bike shop really made up my mind. When they do things like help Bollocks with Heidi at the drop of a hat etc etc. And look our local bike shop owner is out cruising the forests with us plebs!!! So it is for this reason I will be riding a brand new 2011 CRF250x on the Mexico ride next week!!!! Yeeehaa Cant wait!!! I used to ride a Yamaha but now I think they are crap  :silly: I don’t know why you guys were being so diplomatic!!!! Since when did people listen to me anyway. As you can see Boony does not!! Now I just need to sell my Holden car to buy a ford and the transformation will be complete. Jeffro you have also made me decide that Damus should have the first ride.

I think I have seen that spot in a “Dirt Action” Video. I too love that secret spot!!! And Huskybloke has seen it as he told me. Lucky that farmer lets you on his farm but don’t tell any of the locals or they will all ask him!!! How cool are rocks!!!

Thank you all for your comments! :) When I said not to mention brand names I did not want to get people saying” I bought brand X and they are crap.”As it would have got out of control and not helped me.
Put it this way. If you were a Holden fan would you buy a ford! I can change my riding style to suit a 250. But changing brands spooks me the most.
Yes I have ridden Bollocks 250 and it did seem tame but that was because I was riding it like I would a 450. I have ridden the highly modded 290 wr and it was great but it was not a 250. Ian the 2T idea would be cool but I think I would have to go to a 150 2T to achieve the power reduction I am talking about. I Don’t want to mod a 250 4T power wise at all. No loud pipe. Hows the serenity!!!! ;)

no she did not fall for the rag in the carb trick but I think it is dead :( have been getting prices on a new bike today and after the fun time I had on the ttr 250 I think my new one could be a 250 as well. The ride was great and it was good to finally get to know the tamworth division ….. Again. I have one video that I will post up tomorrow. Surprisingly I caught Billy falling off. The conditions were the best I have seen up there. Bollocks has certainly taken over from pep as the puddle roosting master but he did cop the occasional payback as he practiced his new found skill indiscriminately. Tanya would be displeased as Bollocks clothes became slightly soiled. The feed at the patch was first rate as usual. Thanks once again to damus for packing the spare bike and thanks boon for packing the mechanic.

This was the first thing I saw when I got out of my Ute. It was my fist ever bike. My dad bought it in 1982 for $860. I did not realize it was mine till I saw a few familiar crashed bits and then asked him where he got it!!! What a blast from the past.

    PE175.jpg
But as you can see you can run into all sorts of bikes at North Star. Yeah you will look cool with the latest bike and gear but these dudes are out having just as much fun B)

We had to help this one with a fouled plug on the second day. Wonder why it oiled up ??? he would have been wringing its neck in the tight suff :silly:

Was a ride of very different stuff for me. I also saw first hand how to repair a tube on Darrens BRP without removing the wheel. Yes I know it has been discussed here before but I have never had a go myself.
