No need to drain the coolant hey as most of it boiled out on our last ride at dirtbike territory!

Fair bit in that Aaron. Looked in there and there was no green stuff left. Thought I had better update that situation considering the temps where I was heading. Didn’t boil but didn’t get a real work out either. Got the 1.8 bar cap to replace the 1.4 and I must say it is an awful lot tighter than the old one was so maybe the old one wasn’t even 1.4 by the end.

There was a whole thread on this site re k t m radiator caps seems they benefit from the upgrade

No need to drain the coolant hey as most of it boiled out on our last ride at dirtbike territory! did the new cap make a difference to its resistance to boil? You would have had to be giving the clutch a fair hiding for it to boil on days like these?? Looks like fun shame the locals were at the sand hill area. Much fun and spills to be had there :)

I hit a kangaroo and bent the radiator in the first 5 minutes of my YZ450’s life. Worst thing was by the time I found a tree to stand the bike up the roo had recovered and left the scene  Get cycle tune to send some photos or is there some sort of confidentiality clause that they must abide by like doctors???

If you want a hand Boony I will tow you around to get it going. Yes I know this is tech help so I am not taking the piss. I remember when they canned those bikes and ADB did a big spread on them as a last hurrah. Remember them all in a line with their front wheels blocked digging trenches!

Brilliant work Gibbit. Those whoops sound like motivation destroying beasties. The photos are brilliant. One guy getting filled in on a corner is a classic. Would be great to see the likes of Toby Price punching hard on wet sand. :cheer: Must be a sight to see. B)

That is sad to watch :( . Maybe they should have taught the kid to ride before they let him jump.
