Aaron how are you going mate? i haven’t seen you at any of the pony express races this year, what have you been up too? are you going to be able to make it to north star this year will be better then ever and they are going to have a NON competive enduro cross track set up as well so that should be fun to play on!

All I have been doing lately is work :( it sucks ass. I am definitely going to North Star we are going to make it a family weekend it should be great. Really looking forward to catching up with all the Moree and Tamworth people going. That enduro cross track sounds fun as I love the one at dirt bike territory.

Welcome to the site mate. Chris owns the insane Honda zedah I posted in the Honda bikes forum ages ago. If you are Snooping around the site Chris linked the Harley video you had on the Thomas Lee website to the” It’s not a photo but wow” thread. Bollocks you would remember Chris well from the Territory pony X 2 yrs back when you were perched up smoking  He was probably idling down there in 4th:laugh:

Nice to see that the engines are tough but it is the dust destroying them. Should get that bloke with the CRF at 400 hrs to do a “how to” on airfilter servicing. Sounds like we could all do with some schooling if he sees those results. :)

You have had your CRF for how long and you are rebuilding it ??? Where have I heard this story before. Back in the XR days when you thought of Honda you thought strong and reliable. We have Honda stationary engines that have done so many hours in horrific conditions with minimal servicing and they still wont die. We would not think of buying another product just because of past experiences.Yes these are ag products and hardly similar to a high performance motorbike engines. Surely all these CRF engine failures cant be just because of poor maintenance. Unless people buy Honda’s because like me in the past you hardly had to service them. Whats the story??

Was thinking from the post .. all this sounds to familiar so I checked out your profile. For those of you that remember the bollocks front sprocket incident, well Carl helped me out with a new rear sprocket on the last North Star trail ride. It did not get to the no teeth stage but it was not far off  . I have not been on the pony ex this year as work has taken over my life. :( Will be good to catch up at North Star. Great to see you on the site.

I know people run lower pressures for more traction on the front. But I run 16 to 17 PSI and I have never had a pinch flat ever. Even at the Uralla Pony X… Ask Husky bloke what that is like. That is while in rocky areas but I choose not to lower it as I think it is a false economy. If you are racing and second count hook in and lower them.

G’Day Roy I lived in Gunnedah for a short time back in the early 90’s In Gallen Avenue up near Links road. Hope to see you on a ride at Tamworth. I am also going on the Dalby moto ride soon at North Star which is not too far from you. Its not an old bulls ride but it’s a good reunion for all my friends at Moree. Welcome to the Old Bulls. :)

Glad it went sort of well . Can’t wait to see the pics and stories of the day. You will be pleased to know it has not rained west of Dalby at all. What was the story about Steves KTM…… Did you have a ride on one and realize that you own an ag bike. :P :P Come on stop with the teasers.
