Yes I am far from a mechanic but i have a go anyway. That is not the worst thing I have done! Once I pressed one of those plastic spacers that hold needle bearings with the pin right through the bearing! It oozed through the needles like butter! Yes I have done some stupid stuff!!!! More to come when I remember!! Must have something wrong with that part of my brain…. that is if i have one.:laugh:

A hydraulic jack will work on its side you just need the pump/piston at the lowest point so it keeps getting oil fed to it. man that looks scary hope it works out

Just like Micks ride people will pull out…. Idiots:laugh: I will take my landcruiser or my old mans F250 twincab towing a trailer for the bikes depending on how many people are going. So I would say there probably will be room:unsure: The trailer I had organized could be gone by this ride can everyone keep an eye out for some back up plans. I t will have to be BIG AND ENCLOSED

We need to have a gahtering (preferably at a pub) and start to get organised, if theres 10 of us going we should take our cars and bike trailers?????????

I know it’s not quite in the same ball park but… Charlies TTr50 is always drowning the airfilter with engine oil because of a breather between the case and the air intake. Is a pain in the butt when he drops it as it stops it running properly as you would expect. But it re oils the air cleaner and all you have to do is keep topping the engine up with oil.

Ahh wish I had a video of this but I pressed pause not record. This took two people and boll doing the grunting noises to get it out. I think a 4by4 thought it would be cool to bog himself to justify his useless existence:angry: Made boll fall off :laugh: at least it wasn’t me this time.

It was at this stage I decided I was happy to have an old bike to learn how to ride on!
Thought it might catch fire as oil leaking onto the header. Why my ballance thought it was a better idea to fall on the down side of the hill is beyond me???!! Was in heindsight a better decision to attack the hard hills first up while we were fresh….not for long though. Dozers helped make the ride better and more boring at the same time. Clearing new trails:) and moving logs:( .I decided to pick this post and not the one Snowy09 did as Snow had a good buster on the ride and probably will forget most of the things that are in his short term memory:laugh:

Any suggestions as to the best way to go inland or coast the different routes are fairly close both K and hours wise. Seeing some of us will be in a bus might make one way better.??? I know Boon has said the way to go but ignore him he probably wouldn’t award you the eternal clock of power anyway!!

his wet farts start on the 28th of august. so we will be heading down on the 25th and staying at Aulbry that night. not sure what way we are heading, but ,,,shit we have 6 months to get it soughted.
