Both the polaris and the suzuki are 2T. Boony has a LT50 and I think he should sell it to make way for the new TTR 50 or CRF50 very soon.

Thanks Bundy!! I know we do have an enduro account and our new president is more into enduro and pony express so there could be a chance of joining the inland series down the track (excess the pun)a bit. I would love to use the Gundy 400 track cause i like the high speed stuff hence why i want to do Hattah and Finke.

I did see the ride organised at Bike Teritory and it pricked my ears a bit I will have to see if I can make it.

Thanks for the offer for advise about paperwork. In the last couple of weeks we have become quite good freinds with the people at MQLD and they are great to get along with so we will see how we go.

Don’t Pony X have a rule that the tracks will have an average speed around 50Kph ??? I was talking to Chris Thomas about that track(Gundy 400) when they allowed bikes and he said it was very fast. Yes he is fast but the average from what I heard back then would have been closer to 100kph or higher???. Also congrats on the club re vamp!

With a slightly shorter route planned for the way back we looked as though we could make it in the 10 hour mart and with that in mind we sat back, enjoyed lunch and did what all Old Bulls do when assembled in groups. We talked about bikes and took the piss out of each other.

You might want to have a yarn to the Tamworthians STM, over here they just take the piss out of me!!

This is actually the Link road that allows us to go another way to the Berry Patch. If you ride the big Nundle event you will go there. Its much harder the other way especially if its wet! Look forward to that one :) That’s all the videos guys thanks again for a great day. And once again I will say ” Sorry!!! to the “stolen hour generation” :woohoo: :silly: But I won’t say it again because I will be saying if you bring that up one more time I will roost you at the first available opportunity!! :P

Well the day started out so well till we got there as you all now know! We towed that thing for a K or so and would not start :( Thanks to RC Honda for letting me learn how to get my bike towed with a rope and you too Jeffro. In the end it was Dahmus who said “You didn’t happen to leave a rag in the intake” and one of the voices in my mind said OHHH F#@K Yes. :( Cycle Tune also gave me some good news after I got it going “you might want to drop that engine oil because of fuel getting in there after towing it Boody great Castrol GPS with no hours and it already needs to be changed. Oh well My friend Darren will definitely be back but hopefully on his BRP. He did say that he didn’t like the Idea of subjecting his pride and joy to that punishment!Yeah an XR650 not able to take punishment obviously new to the game!! Well Buzz did a great job of leading us on the first part of the ride. I have never been so worried in my whole life on a ride as I knew that if Darren got hurt he would never be back as his Mrs would be pissed at me!. But he went well and did us all proud ;) I got to have a ride on Steves WR450 which was great down the steps but a tad loud. Luckily I gave back Steves bike because in the next stint just before the swampy Meadow I dropped my bike in a rut going fairly quickly and smashed my left knee hard and now it is twice the size of the other one :( Oh well It could have been worse … Boony could have been on the ride :P Not long after that Steve had his crack at the title and came off second best :( Luckily I had the spare brake lever that I have been carrying around for 5 years at the ready. Steve realized the ride had gone off the rails and left the scene when he saw Snow attacking some of the wildest bush with his bike, body and saw when there was a clear B double route right in front of him! :woohoo: The new pine singles were a highlight(shame about the graffiti Bloody Homies) and I cant wait to ride them again soon. They just kept on going on and on I was having a ball but a Darren was Stuffed and Cycle tune was almost out of Juice on his Husky 250 2T. So we caught the closest gravel ride to Ponderosa and It was all over :( Apart from the start It was a great day with great riding with no commuting at all. We should make that loop the one we use on the big Nundle ride as it was spot on!!! Top ride Guys! Don’t invite Aaron next time but Rags will be welcome!! :woohoo:

What exactly are you doing here Buzz? You seem to be floundering around like someone trying to work out why their bike won’t start :silly: Yes it does work I do feel better ;) But the chemical help worked the best 😆

It was a great day on the trails once we got going hey Aaron. What was the comment, “wouldn’t have this problem if Yamaha brought out a fuel injected WR”.

    Buzz

I’m not totally sure you have not taken that comment out of context Buzz.
I would only have one bike(If they brought out a EFI WR 450F )thus would only been able to service one,not two bikes which I have been shown to be incapable of. But anyway I’m never going to redeem myself especially in this thread so I going to get the lube out and grin and bear it. :( I need cheering up I might post some vids of Boll and Buzz having some difficulty :woohoo: Yeah that will make me feel better and maybe some seropax and Beer!!! :silly:

Yes it is clear from yesterday that I am not a mechanic! Prepping two bikes to go into war was too much for me. One thing I do with boats is never hook it up to go for a lap unless it has started. Think I will do that now on the bikes. Felt so bad holding everybody up so if you have to change my name make it happen  Sad to say it is not the first time that has happened  I put a rag in the inlet on the head when i was adjusting the needle clip on the carbie of the WR 3yrs ago. I will never do it again! Borrowing TB’s words “stupid is what stupid does”.If only I had told Darren he had to drag his BRP from Moree so I could have left the Black beast in the shed where it belongs! 😆 Will post my ride report and videos later.

? EXE or SX. If they have done heaps of work on it yes. But some of the pro 250 are tapped out and have very limited life spans. Your ability and weight suspension wise will decide if the mods he has done to it have any relevance to you.

    Not one bit mate.
If it makes you feel any better I will go for a second swim at the beach to keep the average up.

Thanks STM ;) Being an albino it helps to stay out of the sun on those hot days :( More beer is helping to make me feel better.

Yes I said I was in but I only just asked for permission from the boss. She said to tell them I had a family and that I was responsible to look after them. So I will see you there my OBT family!
