Last I heard it was in late April. Change of date apparently. I will call one of the organisers to confirm.

Negatory on the colour mate but if you do go through with the powder coat. Cover all surfaces you don’t want covered. Don’t rely on them. Learned that one the hard way on wheels for the RGV. It’s tough stuff though. Good luck Ian. :)

Had the pleasure of riding the 300 4T Sherco yesterday on the grass track and I was very impressed. Power was higher in the rev range than my 300 almost likes a 2t without the step up band. I never found the limiter but it must be high. If the 450 is only marginally heavier on turn in general feel and handling it will be one sick puppy. It would be good to ride it back to back with a kato 350 to compare. I hopped off it onto a 14 CRF 250R. In retrospect the handling power and feel of the sherco was closer to a mx set up than an off the shelf enduro bike. I would buy one on a heartbeat. Definitely worth a look if you are in the market. While ever Honda Suzuki Yamaha and Kawasaki continue to either ignore the small to medium bore enduro market or rely on the r and d they did 5 years ago the exodus will only get faster with options like this gem.

Wow that build is incredible and the front on shot makes it look like a predator for sure. :) but if it does collapse under its own gravity or go supernova. You have a back up with a 98 WR 250 for sale at bikes and bits. But seriously well done. ! Would love to see it in the flesh in action one day. B)

Nice toys:) Is the Number on the Honda for Valentino Rossi??? Would be a hard choice to make in going to have fun from that garage. To keep my license or not to keep it. Lol. Although I think if I had an R1 I would attract just as much attention from the law as if I was riding a 450 r. I don’t know how you do it. Seeing you are from Brisbane have you ever taken the R1 to the natural arch at springbrook national park?

I think I’m going to like this bike. :woohoo:

Suspension is a bit soft but a rear spring will fix that. The clickers were set at comfort. I set them to standard for tomorrow and put some pre load on the springs.

The power delivery is different and not as lively as the 2T but seems plenty once I found a sweet spot.

You have gotta love the sweet spot on a small bore…… Tapped. Lol
