Seems this topic has gone in two directions. So on the bike topic there is now a police blitz on unregistered riding in the northern NSW and QLD border ranges. I used to smoke but i sold my RGV years ago!!! But the cost of rego could entice me back into it again in the form of KTM300!!!

One of my friends wanted to do finke. he ended up working for a guy who bought a buggy to do that sort of race. He ended up riding shotgun for a test of the track and after that said “stuff that those whoops are spastic” Good luck guys you are sick puppies to want to hook into some of that punishment!!

Happy bday Boony Shame you couldn’t go on the ride . We had an extended stop at the berry patch as it was peeing down. very interesting out there in the wet and at the end cold. wish i had some goggles that wouldnt fog as i could have left them on my head insted of hanging around my neck. Anyhow have a beer for me and enjoy the day!!

Joke… How many Boony’s does it take to pinch a tube three times Answer: only one it seems ! ( yes you read right 3 times) The ride was fun we did 90 kays. I ony had one big stack at the top of the big hill climb that goes up from the weirs. Aparently dirt bikes don’t like going backwards when you still have a fair bit of forward momentum. Anyway I flew the the agbike flag for you on the WR426. And there were two TTR’s!!! All we were missing was the cows to muster!! Next time you want to go for a ride call me and I will fit the tire for you. You had better do it two days before cause it took 2 hours for me to put a new black bit on the WR on Saturday!!!

Just think somebody at some stage got down on their hand and knees and stared at the workings of those bikes and said “WOW” “This is the future” Those bikes would go well with Dahmus riding attire!

There wern’t many injuries but the bikes took most of the hits. Aparently pep got to ride alot of different bikes up that hill cause guys were too stuffed. my new pillow soft grips have been torn a new A and my clutch lever is shorter than it should be. Riding in ruts is challenging and fun but not when you cant see any more than 2 meters. It was still fun.

What is it with yamaha and water they just dont like it especially when you run a hose in the airbox. I like cycletunes diagnosis “the main jet is not working” sounds technical but the cause was dumb!!! I might need to run a hose in my air box after uralla pony x its gunna be dust city. Now if i can just convince cyclone louie to go a little further south!!
