Hey Andy. Seeing you have all the gear off it I would think very seriously about not putting the original rear indicators back on. They are not built to stand the bike being on its side. :( I put some smaller after market ones on it and they were much better. The only other bitch with aftermarket is having to lengthen the wires.

Hey eages you mentioned something in that post that I think really need clearing up. Parachute hill is not really that steep. It’s a hill we usually race down or up. It is one of those fun hills where you usually do a bit of bar banging and have a ball. It’s one of those hills that you love when you are on a big bore. Cory once named it the “fluffy duck” which is probably a better description than parachute. This has nothing to do really with the adv v trail rider stuff which I think is very entertaining as long as people continue to use plenty of emoticons. :woohoo: :P :cheer:  :pinch:

All I can say about this ride is wow. B)
This will make things real easy for you Bollocks with prep for the extreme ride at Nundle. Just find some cliff covered in lantana and blackberry and point to it on the day  Murph and the other mad men will think they are at home.

Like the others said. Usual stuff. Look up you tube and learn how to ajust the valves. They are piss easy and chances are its never been done. Xr100’s all over Australia have been used and neglected and still front up for work again and again. Great idea snowy. Sounds like family fun coming up. B)

Nice buy ;) I went into the KTM dealer today to pick up some parts which surprise surprise were not in yet. There was a 350 450 and 500 six day editions there and they were pretty mad bits of kit. B)

Thanks TB. I could see how that would be as we put a graphics kit on a bike and tried a heat gun in a few spots but it was a bit vicious. :) I have seen the fitters put some bearings in the over night fridge also before an install.

This thing looks pretty handy. I used the press at work when I did mine. But that dragged me away from home using up precious brownie points. :( This looks like something I could keep in my home tool box. Thanks for posting. BTW I was talking to Buzz re this today and he asked if his old hair dryer would do to heat up linkages and the like. I couldn’t see why not just as long as he held it there long enough.

I’m not surprised as last time I went up there I almost hit two on two seperate incidents. Fairly scary as I was on a main road at transport speeds. :pinch:
Hope the bike makes a speedy recovery. :P

I can make it for the Saturday run, but need to bail after the ride.

One of my mates from Cessnock will be staying with me that weekend, so I’ll bring him along. He rides a CRF450X……..this will be his first OBT ride and his first experience of Nundle. :)

    Logan

Logan you should get your mate to join old bulls and do a quick spiel in the introduce yourself threads. ;)
That way we will have an excuse to be logged on to old bulls “Just waiting for your mate!” 😆
I’m sure there will be other rides he will want to go on seeing he is from cesnock. :)

Hey spidy you may want to use the time to hone your riding techniques. :P Young Polly has got a real bike now and takes a fair bit of argy Bargy to wheel him. ;) I think Polly might be looking for a bit of pay back. Might want to buy yourself a mouth guard. :silly: I on the other hand will relish the peppering of gravel from an angry 300
Also back by popular demand will be the big black dyno runs to check the effectiveness of 250 fettling.
We may also run the all powers engine off race which is always good to see which old bull has more than the average share of gravity. (Read fattest )
Other things that will not be making a return are the “inferno at the ring of knowledge” as boony has discovered a more politically correct but boooorrrring way of lighting them. 😆
And it has been requested by the park owner that there will be no explosives of any form brought to the event.
