    Nice boots Scotty!

    Yeah, nice boots Scotty!

    Gaerne : pronounced Gay-Ernie

    (True fact!)

Thanks ECKS-man, PTW and I were talking about the different ways to pronounce bike product brands like Arai, shoei, acerbis and gaerne.

I prefer to point and say ‘that one’ :S

    Well spotted Mick,,,

I use the webbing straps from SCA (supercheap Auto), good strength, metal buckles and they pull up real tight if you want them too bt quick and easy to release …

Always carry a couple of spares too hey ;)

    One question ACE,,,
Where`s the bladder going now,, on top of the dry bag or just in front ???? :)

Hi Eags, the bladder will sit on top of the bag nicely.

    cheers mate.

    Hi Ace
hope you guys have a great trip.

Just looking at the photos of your bike with all the gear loaded – looks good but I would not rely on only occy straps to hold gear on the back rack. Some of the $2 bemer webbing straps work great and you know your gear will still be there when you get home.

    Mickp

Hi Mick, thanks for the tip mate. I have some ratchet straps in the top bag that I will swap over.

Catch up for a beer at the 2 day.

p.s might have to have a chat about the Bantam. I am planning on adding one of those to the garage a little down the track.

My Old man hated bikes, (still does), so no bike for me as a kid. My first bike, was a 1965 Suzuki Sportsman k15, 80cc of blistering power.

I found it in a ditch behind a truck workshop when I was 14.
The owner of the workshop said I could have it and we wheeled it 2kms home and spent a day or two getting it to go. It went like beauty for two days before it really shat its dacks and melted the piston to the bore.

My uncle then loaned me a 1975 DT100B and took me to Hungry Creek with it every now and then.

Hey Mick, I had one of those DT100’s with the green tank. Great learner bike back in the day. Did the tank colour change with the model? I can’t recall the model of mine. Thought it was the 100A??

Jeez Eags…one little mistake…hate to see how you held a grudge if i really upset you   :P

TB has just offered some advise and that was to f%&# off the top case and bring some of the weight forward.

That good, it gives me something to do tomorrow. :)

The soft case holds more actually so it will let me get the height down and store more stuff if required.

As always TB, your advice is appreciated. ;)
