Hey Guys,
Nick, I won’t be able to ride any time soon but very willing to help out, how about you post an address that I can send some ‘folding’ upto, you can then deposit into the fast fill on my behalf.
Do you guys do any bench racing with out rides? I’m based in Sydney south but happy to travel for a get together.
Maybe a local BBQ for the OBT crew with a donation might be an idea?
I know we are close to Christmas and all but….See you all soon
Cheers
Action. Thanks guys that looks like a decent option.
Cheers
ActionAn English man, Australian and an Irish man all sitting around the table at the pub, when they started talking about who had the most hospitable country in the world
The Englishman started, in my country, you walk into a pub, it’s snowing outside, people will give you a spot by the fire and you can get a warm meal and a beer to warm your cockles.
That’s nothing says the Aussie, at our pubs when you walk in everyone turns around and says hi, you can buy a beer and anyone in the pub will be happy to chat to you even buy you a beer.
“Ai’’ says the Irishman that’s nothing, I know of a pub in Ireland, where you go in, they buy you grog all night, everyone is falling over themselves to talk to you and buy you drinks, then at the end of the night they take you up stairs and shag you senseless.
Wow both the others say, that sounds fantastic pub, when did you go there,Oh I have never been my sister told me about the place
:dry:No, the video is too big.
I think, here is a video of some of the uys coming up a gnarly hill
Cheers
ActionGents,
What can I say, a VERY big thank you for a great weekend. Mal 5.1 with some running repairs 5 minutes after introductions. Mal for being the taking the Lead and Crash for sweeping. Met a whole heap of really nice guys, some names very familiar from the site. Had a blast on the trails, and spent some time lying on the deck. My theory is “no balls no falls”. However another theory floated around the campfire is ‘When accidents occur its just because you run out of ability’. Like Mumma always said you learn something new everyday. So some great riding, and a blast on the second ride with fast flowing fire trails a few hills and no spills.
Attached is a few pics, The OBT Camp
One of big Tom (Yammymans) dust up.
The magic view from on top of one gnarly hill.
Again thanks for a great ride some great bench racing and meeting some good people.
See you all again.
Cheers
ActionKeen as mustard out this way.
Looking forward to the ride next weekend especially seeing as though I have cancelled this weekends ride out at Sofala due to the crap weather. I will be meeting up with you guys on Sat morning, what time do you usually head off for a ride??
Looking forward to meeting everyone.
Cheers
ActionSo it seems unanimous. Its goneski.
Thanks again
ActionGuys,
Sorry to be a pain in the @ss, but with a pinched tube (my first ever), do I patch repair or throw it out and start with a new one????Cheers
ActionGood News gents, tyre has been changed. The issue was the bead wasn’t really ‘broken’. But the great news is I get to do it all again. I pinched the tube, and have a very fast leak.
Thanks again for your help.
See you at Sunny Corner
Cheers
ActionThanks for the offer TB, but I got a mail out from Sutto’s. I’m quite sure I’ll be changing more than one tyre in my day. I will try a second set of levers (long), and lets see what happens. I’ll keep you posted.
BTW Wild Turkey does wonders for blood pressure….Later guys.
Cheers
ActionThanks sb_250y, I’ve watched the video, got to about 2mins into the first one ticked all the boxes. My levers don’t look like his. I’ve got two short ones and, as per ‘white rocket’ the old rear is a Mitas, that might be the problem and God only knows how longs its been on (I’ve had the bike for a few months)
So do I buy a second set of levers (long) or go to the bike shop… (Blood pressure is still high)
Cheers

ActionThe camp area is on the main road. if you have been to the Sunny Corner rally, the camp ground is just down the road from there. It’s called Marys Camp.[/quote]
Hey guys, I’ve not actually been up there before, is it on Sunny Corner rd and near Sugar Loaf Rd? Or can you give me some cross streets or the like that I can reference on Google Maps?
Cheers
ActionThat sounds like my Ex
