Gordon,
Thanks for inviting me along
It had been 5 days since I had a ride in Ourimbah and it’s funny how quickly things can change
I rode through the same puddle on Tuesday that saw the end of what was supposed to be an easy day out on the bikes for two intrepid adventurers today
The picture tells it all and 3 1/2 hours of toil is enough to wear anyone out
Gordon and I skirted around this puddle on our way out to the quarry as I nearly got stuck in it on Tuesday
On out return approximately 3 hours this is what we came across

It took the four of us another 1/2 hour to get it out  and the boys were knackered but relieved :cheer:
It was slippery out there today and we had some serious fun :woohoo:
It was amusing watching G Mac trying to get up greasy hills with about 30 psi in his tyres
He finally gave in and let some air out, but it didn’t seem to make much difference

Thanks Gordo, see you next Saturday, and don’t forget the BBQ
Some brief vids, didn’t get much time for stopping.

No worries TB,
We’ll put in an extra snag just in case

Possibly
We may have to re-name this as the “over 50’s ride”, with Boze tagging along as geriatric support
With all the rain we’ve had this week conditions should be perfect :woohoo:

Have had picnics there with the family and even rock climbed some of the cliffs below the lookout:woohoo:
Nice spot, Eags
Cheers
MurphI think your right Murph, We were poking round out there the other week looking for that track off Carrols (which we found).
Nice photos Eags and some top spots out that way.
I noticed the rocks and log had been moved from either side of the bridge. It’ll only encourage SF to make a bigger effort to block it and make it more difficult for bikes in the process.
4bies should look at the photos of the structural failure and note how lucky they were, and keep off it.

No worries Bol, It’ll be good to catch up, and yes the beer down here is exceptional.
I’ll have to get the mystery cook to get some of the “boutique” beer that’s brewed nearby
I’ll PM you directions
Boze, if you include the cooks then we’re at 15 so we’re safe
, plenty of black cats out in the bush, and if you believe Sam’s mate there’s a black panther as well

It would be good to catch up again Wolfie
Your welcome any time your down this way, we can always make time to fit in a ride
Adam.
Murph the surf wrote:I work that weekend
But I don’t get to ride with these clowns very often so count me in
This ride has just cost me a couple hundred, :pinch: better be good.
No pressure, Adam.
Tim may be a starter too, so if anyone is up for a couple of challenges, I’m sure we can accomadate 👿
I’d imagine the Dude may also be interested
Cheers
MurphYou should know by now there’s no such thing as a free lunch
However I don’t think the sausage sandwich will quite cover that cost
May have to get the cooks to throw in something extra
We can chat with the silly ones and see if they want one of your challenges, Woose Hill or Zig Zag (also known as The Spanish Steps) come to mind, as we will be going up Maculata to the top of those two.
Your on the list
Adam.
bigger al wrote:Shimmed mine snow and it lasted one ride do your self a favour ,kibble whites mate and no more troubles.Sam’s CRF went a similar path, not sure how many rides after the first shim but they close quickly once they’ve needed shimming.
We put Kibble White SS valves (springs and new seals) in, no lapping and he had no problems.
