Murph,
You would need to block the outlet with your finger to stop the air returning from where it came.
When the system is assembled and full of oil the spring will push the piston back but can’t suck the calliper piston in as there is to much effort required. This allows it to act a bit like a one way valve.
You’ll need to act like a valve
Put some fluid in and cycle it past your finger as per Menace’s suggestion.
Hope this helps
Adam.
Happy Birthday Nick :cheer:
Have a good one, being self employed I’m guessing you’ll be working :pinch:
Adam.
Happy Birthday Rocket
Have a good one :woohoo:
Adam.
Thanks for organizing the ride Gordon
and Stu, Michael, Tryhard and Ollie for making it an enjoyable day on the bike
I was going really well, not tired no poor decisions generally a really fun time :woohoo:
After our break everything went pear shaped :pinch:
Twice falling over on a small track I’ve never fallen off previously
Then after loosing Ollie and regrouping I decided to go sweep.
100m into the simple single I watched Ollie ride down a rock followed by Tryhard who rode around the rock so I decided to ride over the rock too. However the bike decided to ride over me
I face planted another rock as the bike ploughed into my back  The armour really did it’s thing I felt a lot of weight and my back bent backwards then the armour reached it’s limit and the bike kept going. My only injury being a corked lower thigh :pinch:
The hassle was being by myself trying to retrieve the bike from behind a tree on the bank
I rode for a while longer into the gully with my thigh slowly swelling, following Ollie.
Thankfully I didn’t follow him into the gully before the log, it looked spectacular and scary at the same time
Michael and I helped him out and we rode out of the gully with me retiring early eagerly assisted by Ollie who was also a bit battered by this stage
The only video I got was of Tryhard who wanted a second go at the hill
You’ve gotta love the bark of a Kato 530

Geez your keen Michael
I’m still sore from yesterday
5mm odd of rain overnight
with a bit more predicted tonight, so should be dust free unlike yesterday.
Should be good :woohoo:
Adam.
Does it have video stabilization?
Adam.
Unlucky Nick but by the same token very lucky, spinning mower blades do a lot of damage.
Seems to be a bit of a design flaw in the mower too
Get well and take it easy
Adam.

Just on another note for those not old enough to know  Mr Squiggle didn’t crash off that erosion mound he was just visiting home

Thankyou to the Tamworth crew :cheer:
They organized another top weekend of riding, drinking and bench racing :woohoo:
Damus and House ate dust all Saturday and still came out smiling
Aaron swept and showed us his Romaniacs skills
Buzz lead like a trooper
and Boony, well he’s Boony
did a champion job too
Snowy and Bollocks kept us entertained and fed throughout Friday’s and Saturday’s rides without even riding
And a big thanks go to all the other Old Bulls who made it a fantastic weekend :woohoo:
Adam.
Happy Birthday Justo :woohoo:
Have a good one
Adam.
I’m inclined to go with Nick
LC rode Menaces 300 today and managed to get the rear brake hot (very hot) however it came good after a while once it was adjusted and cooled down.
Adam.
Well another top day on the bike :woohoo:
I waited for Action and kitted up, started the bike and discovered a fuel leak
Whipped the tank off to realize it was coming from up round the injector
We rode to the meet point met the others and decided to see what happens
It fixed itself so all good :cheer:
There wasn’t any dust from where I was sitting  Gee it’s good to be the lead
We kept to the eastern side hoping to keep the dust down but there hasn’t been any rain here for ages and its taking its toll
We started into the challenging stuff pretty much from the start to warm everyone up
When Trailraider took his helmet off his head was wringing wet  I think I may have overdone it
We took some slightly easier options to the fun singles where Dttugboat had his TTR screaming and his smile said it all, he was having a ball :woohoo: He was so keen he even took on the challenge hill went to the top and came back down for more
Unfortunately for him and Trailraider there time was up and headed back to the cars.
We headed for some more singles which ends in a nice climb however the track fairies have been at work and added some more singles (read cleared some old tracks) and reconfigured the tracks so we went round and round a bit to find the old track to the hill climb
Everyone cruised to the top so I figured we’d head to the gully to sort them out
I took as many side track that I could to get to the gully as the main track was busy with minibuses and trailers loaded with mountain bikes
The ride into the gully is all tight single and a bit of fun but the climb out is technical and took its toll so we took the easy options back towards the cars and finished off a good day with some cruisey tracks, but not too cruisey
I also got to test my Rekluse clutch out today, it saved my butt more than once  and my arthritic hand is all the better for it
Thanks to Trailraider for posting up the ride and Action for sweeping and to all the boys for a top day on the bike
Here’s a vid of the days adventure
