ira11y wrote:Thanks to the Old Bull team for letting the 3 of us join you for a short while from the car park this morning. yes unfortunately I did get led astray by the 4 victims from the hill, but it was a nice little trail anyway LOL. I noticed a few of you had left by the time we got back to the car park, we did catch up with Old Girl who looked a lot better for a few more hours rest. Hopefully we can catch up again on another ride.Hopefully a couple of photos will upload with this post, I have plenty of good quality video from early on in the ride, as this is the first time I have used the drift I am not sure what video editing software to use. Can someone suggest something easy to use for a beginner?
As Ollie said
If your using windows (and who doesn’t) then try “Windows Live Movie Maker”. It’s a free download from the Microsoft site. It’s basic but easy to use
Happy to have you guys along anytime

Trailboss wrote:All will be explained this weekend but here is a brief and REMEMBER ITS NOT SET IN CONCRETE YET
Asterisk don’t make the cheaper Cells brace anymoreBoth of the dealers I have spoken with wont stock the other cheap Asterisk brace because they are crap and having looked at them I have to say they would suit MTB riders. They are called Cytro cells
Pods have been considered and are being quoted, but three sets of feedback I have to date from people whose opinion I respect and none have been good. The dealers are saying they are ok so they are being priced as another choice. Further more on the Pods (I don’t care what you buy I have only recommended Asterisk because I know from my experience I can say hand on heart they work, protect and last) I know STM had a set of Pods that fell apart in a very short time. Deejay had a set he wore twice and he stopped wearing them because they were uncomfortable.
The Asterisk Ultras will be about $825 ish, if we buy over 10 sets. You can price them from say Rocky Mountain ATV but they are $815 landed to my house (that will change daily as our dollar drops in the US) you will get no warranty here or support
Normal retail for the Asterisk Ultra braces is around 990 ishAs I said more later, this isn’t a 5 minute job just give me a little more time
TB
I came up with $804.00 for the Ultras without the exchange rate which takes it to $904.00. Rocky Mountain must give you a better price
Lock it in Eddie

oldgirl wrote:Jeez I don’t care the more the merrier. Its your call Adam. We might want to meet in that park around the corner from Murphs though seeing as there are a few of us?
No worries on numbers at this stage
The park around the corner from Murph’s is miles away like 30 miles
Ourimbah is heaps closer to you
Given numbers we’ll meet in the gravel car park Palmdale Rd Palmdale 9am ready to ride.
Type or copy and paste the below co-ordinates into Google maps and you won’t go wrong.
-33.33193, 151.37784
PS on a ride last Sunday we had a visit from a friendly police man. He was checking for rego, he was happy if it was attached to a backpack and he requested that we ride quietly from the car park as they have received complaints.

fordy wrote:Measured up 37 .5 which makes it a medium but on the verge
on being a large in this case would you be better off with the
bigger one or stick with the medium. what do yous recon.
Cells at this stage but could be an upgrade
Thanks
FordyBoth Sam and I were right on the upper limit of the size ranges.
On one leg I was just on Large and the other just on XL so went the XL.
Sam figured if he fattens up at all he’ll be large so he went for large.
Do you think your going to put on any weight
But to answer your question….. I don’t know
