Away for this one
Maybe the next one
Adam.
I’d have been up for this one
I’m acclimatizing myself in Tassie with the Boss but won’t be back in time
Maybe the next one
Adam.

A cruisey start to warm up, watched Old Girl fall over in all the easy spots (gotta be quicker on the clutch and let it slide so you can control your speed
)
Thanks Stuart for sweeping for me where you did, it’s my favourite single that one :woohoo:
I had enough energy left for a blast back to the cars, thanks for sweeping the end Jeffro
Old Girl you gotta go faster down hills, it’s the only way to keep well balanced and when you see a shitty rock or angled log like at your last crash, no front brake until your wheel is back to firm ground
Thanks to the crew for a top day out, also good to meet a few new Old Bulls
Adam.
Gee thanks Adam for telling EVERYONE how crappy I was yesterday.
OldGirl
You weren’t crappy, you really did fall over in the easier spots  You nailed the harder ones
You just need to do what you do in the hard spots in the easy spots too 😆
Adam.

G Mac,
Would have joined you except going on Murph’s err Old Girls Buttaba ride
Only live a few k’s from Palmdale and have ridden Ourimbah a few times (still get lost :pinch: )
The main track has been graded and repaired
It was becoming it’s own single trail there for a while
Adam.
Happy Birthday Snowy :cheer:
Must feel good knowing your just entering your prime
Have a good one :woohoo:
Adam.

I have removed the ? from beside your nameThis will be a bit of a mystery tour as I would like to take Davis and Stu up Amazon (grade 5) and hopefully get Adam to lead the others to the top via open track. We could perhaps return through Bangalow if everyone is moving along OK.
Will PM starting place and times to all that are keen
Is a 9:00am kick off too early? I realise some of you will be travelling some distance.
Cheers
MurphMurph,
This sounds like a plan
Work is looking good i.e. none :woohoo:
9:00am is fine for me as it means I can sleep in
Forecast looks good
Hope you got some of the rain we had here overnight and today
Adam.
Dave,
The pilot jet works together with your mixture screw. If you have set the mixture screw whilst idling correctly i.e. idles nice and smoothly (screw idle screw in and or out to find the best idle having set the idle to correct revs) and your in the recommended range for turns on the mixture screw (check you manual or web) then at least you know you have the correct pilot jet. If your more turns on the mixture screw than recommended then you need a larger sized pilot jet and visa versa for too many turns in.
If all is good double check for air leaking in the manifold.
Hope this helps.
Adam.

Justo wrote:Hope you had a good night Adam! Would be good to have you along!!Well it wasn’t the best night as it went for 8 1/2 hrs and we were told no more than 4
That made for a 22 hour day and I’m back into it today
However I’ve been instructed by She who must be obeyed to ride tomorrow :woohoo: (nothing to do with her going out for lunch with the ladies  )
Haven’t seen Sam since yesterday afternoon but was cleaning his air filter so he’s probably a go too
Adam.
sam and i are possibles, depends on how tonights work goes. Adam.
Rach,
I’ve had good wear from my chains etc on the 350.
I change the front sprocket as soon as it starts to wear that way I use two front sprockets to a chain and maybe two chains to a rear sprocket (rear sprocket depends on how much mud).
Front sprocket are cheaper than chains and rear sprockets and worn front sprockets cause increased stress in your chain helping it to wear faster.
I use steel fronts (don’t even know if they make alloy fronts) and used steel and alloy rears and had good wear from both types (surprisingly)
I use x ring chains as they are very resistant to stretching (caused by wear)
