kevdog wrote:Well an early start for me and a few ks to my old home town of Ourimbah to ride some trails that many years ago I had riden on horse backA easy start and then into some tight singles
Some great singles and plenty of rocky ledges which made things interesting.
Good company and some good riding great tune up for coffs.
Thanks to Adam for organising the ride and Lunch
Who put that log there at the end
I’m sure it wasn’t there last week  :pinch:
I was laughing that much I couldn’t lift the bike
Good to see you were full of concern there Kev
It was a funny day at times
Adam.
Great read Busy,
Unless your in your 80’s you enduro days are a long way from over
There a couple of Old Bulls that come to mind that are well past shall we say 50 (the new 40) that still hit the trails with vigor and gusto
perhaps not that of a twenty year old but 20 year olds are young and stupid anyway
The secret is pacing yourself
I still do manual work (some may argue otherwise) and have employed young blokes and older fellas (in their 60’s) and at the end of the day the older fellas are still going as strong as when they started where as the young blokes have burned out, no staying power (a bit like sex)
The only problem with getting older is you loose your condition quicker so keep riding and you’ll keep your condition
and don’t go at a bulls roar at the beginning and you’ll still be there at the end
Every now and then you have a day when no matter what you do it turns to shit. As Lotsa said your Mojo will return so keep both bikes.
Your now at a position in life where you can enjoy both types of riding without the ridicule
PS last time I saw you you didn’t look that old anyway
Enjoy
Adam.
Justo wrote:Hey Adam, Can you put me on the list ?justo
No worries Justo
Long time no see, got a few new tracks to show you
Adam.
G’day Wardy
Welcome to the site.
There’s a ride in Ourimbah on Saturday if your interested
We can turn it into a 350 fest as there are two already going
It’s probably the closest place to ride for you.
Adam.
Boony wrote:hey Adam can you put me down for this ride too please.I not coming but put me down anyway,,
Have a good one boys.
Boony
Your on the list Boony :pinch:
You’ll have to come for a ride in person one day
Got plenty of room for a camp out for you and your sheep / goat shagging mates

wrsteve wrote:Hey Adam,Can you put me down for a run tomorrow. weather looks good.
Wrsteve
No worries
See you in the morning, weather will be good however some rain yesterday / today wouldn’t have gone astray
Just means we’ll have to do plenty of single track :woohoo:
Adam.
Murph,
I haven’t posted it up yet however Krusty and Action are coming up to Ourimbah for a ride on Saturday the 10th
I’ll also speak to Sam this arvo to see if he’s free to show you guys around at a pace that you’ll be more comfortable with
Adam.
Trailraider wrote:Hi Adam,
Do you run a map switch on yours and if so which one?If you ride as per your site name then apart from correct springs (especially rear), bash plate and barkbusters you won’t need anything else.
Both Krusty and I run stock exhaust and ignition. It’s handy to be quiet when you need to
and if you do general trail riding / singletrail stuff you should be fine they have enough power for usSam took mine to the Stockton dunes with a few blokes and said he had no problems riding there, but would have struggled on his 250.
When you open them up they get going, I’m not sure what motor differences there are between the 12 and 13 model
Give it a try standard and if you feel your lacking have a play around with settings, mappings etc.
I agree with Moto, and I set my clickers to comfort (your out to enjoy yourself afterall) and have only slowed the rear rebound slightly
PS I’ll be riding next Saturday with Krusty and Action (will post this up soon) in Ourimbah again if your in need of somewhere to ride.
Enjoy your weekend :woohoo:

Good luck with the sale
Sam’s looking to borrow a KTM 200 for Saturday, if not he may have to resort to my old DRZ

Westy82 wrote:Hey Adam if this ride a lot tamer than the ride Murph puts on  then i would like to also join in on this one if thats ok.Westy,
I can guarantee you it will be tamer than Murph’s ride
My skill levels are nowhere near the level of Murph’s :pinch:
Your more than welcome to tag along
Adam.
Trailrider,
I checked my hours and km’s when I got home this evening. I’ve clocked up 5150 km and 170 hours so far.
You shouldn’t have any dramas other than the usual consumerables if you treat her right, (a bit like your wife
)
Adam.
Al,
I put a Vapor on Sam’s CRF when he broke the original
The originals don’t like solid pieces of wood at speed
(read tree)
The Vapor has a temperature gauge too which can be good or bad pending your riding style. In your case you’ll always have plenty of air flow through your radiators so overheating will never be an issue
Proved durable and reliable for Sam and easy to fit.
Adam.
Trailrider,
Put some grease in the wheel bearings and seals
At the very least between the dust seals and bearings, mine had none
Other than that change your fuel filter from time to time and service as per the manual (I do mine at about 20 hours) and you’ll have no problems.
I haven’t bothered with the 105 hour crank bearing change etc as I don’t race and the motor hardly ever gets past half revs
Have fun on it :woohoo:
Adam.
