Can’t fault your logic on light truck tyres

Trailer tyres cop hell.

One draw back of an enclosed trailer is wind resistance, you’ll suck down extra juice.

However it can give you somewhere to throw your swag off the ground and under cover.

Your bike will get dirty on the ride, and you carry all your spares in your bum bag so the security factor doesn’t really matter.

The Pirelli mid hard front that I ended up with on the Neville ride I thought had good grip however I’ve managed to rip more that half the side knobs off on KTM Bulls ride and a few rides in Ourimbah :huh: The middle tread was still good.

I guess you don’t know until you try. I put on a Pirelli MX Extra that I had here for Galey’s Mad Monday ride. For what I do they seem to keep the knobs till the tread is getting down and it’s time by then to replace them anyway.

I saw an add in Australasian Dirt Bike mag and they have a new tyre the Pirelli MX Extra X. They say it lasts 20% longer than the old MX Extra.

Will have to see if that’s true :unsure:
