Anyone had any luck straightening a slightly bent alloy brake pedal on a KTM without it going bang?

My question is  What are you doing with a KTM :pinch:

I bent my gear lever 90 degrees on a stump :( put in the vice and bent it back all was good :)

Having said that I don’t know how much a rear brake lever is and I had a spare gear lever with me ;)

Off in lala land I think :P

Didn’t notice Bigger Al waving to him

Bigger Al then told Damus that Corey had ridden past and Damus went to rescue him whilst the rest of us had a chat waiting, waiting, waiting  I think Damus needs a faster bike  He couldn’t catch Corey trying to catch up to the rest of us

    Funny stuff

    Top ride :woohoo:

    Still sore

Snowy get a lighter bike, stuff the kids education :P and the tracks are difficult enough as it is without you lying all over them

I think Polly’s arms are about a foot longer now  and I’ve learnt the art of dodging flying rocks after following Polly on a 450 with new tyres :pinch:

Loved the singles :woohoo: everything went right going through them :woohoo: well apart from one log anyway (small one at that too)

It was funny seeing Bigger Al blast off into the bush :P shame you hit the rut or whatever it was whilst you were in there  I’m sure Corey didn’t remind you of it on your way home

Thanks Bol for organizing the ride ;) Snowy for his leading, he’s a human GPS ;) and Damus for his sweeping, and searh and rescue skills

Always good to see Aaron, well the blur thats Aaron as he flys past

Corey if you want hills I’m sure Murph or Sam know where a few are 👿

The video was just as Corey went MIA, I had to edit out 35 mins between Polly and Bigger Al :P

    I’ll try again.

The Chad, my mate Mark and I hit up Ourimbah on Saturday :)

It was Mark’s second ride on the DRZ and the bush so nothing too hard ;)

We have to pass beside a bog hole the 4bies chew out and Mark missed his mark and had a minor moment

At least he took the dry option as the mud is like a paste

He did score a leach for his efforts though

All fun and a perfect day for it :woohoo:

    LC,

Will the plate and insulator fit in with the wider pads?

And do you use your rear brakes alot and overheat them?

The answer to these may answer your questions :P

    Heals,

According to the parts diagram it’s a 4mm dowel pin (probably a roll pin, or spring pin depending on where you grew up).

Use a punch, a dowel punch not a nail punch, 4mm ideal 1/8″ or a 3mm if not.

If you don’t have a punch grind flat the point of a nail 4mm or slightly smaller. Their not as strong but if you hit nice and square you shouldn’t bend the nail. Their cheap anyways.

Support the underside of the shaft opposite to where your hitting to avoid stressing the shaft or bushing for the shaft. Make sure you don’t block the dowel though. Don’t laugh I’ve seen it happen.

    Hope this helps ;)
