    Action,

Can’t wait for the photos  :pinch: :P

Given the type of rides you do, and the fact your not racing everywhere you go a 250 would go as hard as the DRZ ;)

What you loose in power you gain in weight loss on the lighter bike :)

You just ride up fast hills in a gear lower than the DRZ, every else is pretty much the same ;)

Some 250’s come with six gears and give you a closer ratio box anyway.

Have a test ride on someones and get a feel for it.

    Ryno,

Try anti-sieze first. The inside components are in oil anyway.

From memory to loosen the compression dampener you need to hold a component inside the fork. I will check the manual tomorrow. I’m guessing you’ve tried to move the clicker in both directions (just incase the previous owner had already screwed them all the way out).

Is it only oneside or both that’s stuck?

Usually the manual refers to settings from fully closed or hard (clockwise until a stop is felt) not fully soft or all the way out.

    Adam.

Just re-read the first post so ignore my question.

As said before what a great weekend :woohoo:

Bob has some fantastic tracks, too many infact as he wore me out

My apologies to Rocket for rear ending him  and my thanks to the crew for sorting my tyre issue out after :)

We met up with Bob’s family out in the forest for a ripper BBQ lunch, a refuel and quick tyre change and thanks to Michelle for bringing the BBQ, fuel and a spare tyre out

Watching Ev wore me out  Ev is a machine ;) his persistance is unrivalled

And thanks to Galey and Nath for the help on the two hills that caught me out ;) I was rapidly running out of energy

On Sunday I was in two minds as to whether I would ride or stay back with Nath and Jason and sample some pale ale :S

The ride won but it wasn’t long before I realized my minds view of my fitness was greater than my bodies view and I was tiring :(

Any way Bob said I could take the option of getting out where we were or go a little bit further and would be closer to the escape route :) So I thought go a little bit further ;) Any way after one more off on a down hill I got my rhythm partially back and even made it up a section others had difficulty with only to end up back where we were fifteen minutes earlier

So I took the bail out route back to Bobs, and much to the joy of Josh who very quickly kitted himself up when he saw me, for my hour long tour of his pee wee 50 track  It brought back memories of chasing a young Sam around our back paddock B) at least I can keep up with Josh, just  but not for much longer

Many thanks to Bob and his family’s hospitality :) and thanks to the boys for a great weekend :woohoo:

I would have been keen on this one for sure :woohoo:

However I’m going out west to annoy Bob this weekend with a few other louts :P

Hopefully will catch up on a ride in the Watties before it’s shut down

However you will see my smiley face at Dungog cherishing your looks of joy when you ride that wonderful 530 around the course :P

True that. I knew Bob lived in the backwoods and tar would be at a premium out there. Whatever works best. I just wont be valve bouncing my 2 stroke on the way back down the road.

    Galey,

Maybe you need to do the Kings 2 Stroke mod to your  2 stroke :P
