Adam.
Murph,
The bladder is a 3 litre. I knew we were nearing the end so I drank it dry
The bike would go close to 150 km’s on that type of ride however there’s no way I could  :pinch:
It was a top ride :woohoo: and Sam’s jealous
Adam.

Cheers

Murph,
I topped up the 350 on Sunday, it took 6 litres
Now to be able to last as long as the bike I need to near double my fitness and carry an extra couple of litres of water
By the way that bottle of ice water you gave me after the ride was greatly appreciated
Adam.
Kevdog,
I’m sure Sam would let you try his 250 whilst he tried your 450
Then you’ll know for sure
Organize a ride and we’ll come up :woohoo:
Adam.
Murph,
Thanks for an absolutely fantastic ride :woohoo:
Those singles were awesome :woohoo:
Even my crash in a puddle near the end was fun  but now I need to straighten the bars
Saw quite a few places I hadn’t seen before
Top bunch of blokes and good to meet Offline, Pikey and Dusty
Adam.
Thanks Murph
See you tomorrow :woohoo:
Adam.
Boony
I still say the older you get the heavier they get
And when 50 is only a month away you do everything you can to make life easier
I rode Sam’s 250 at Sunny Corner and it convinced me a lighter bike was the way to go for me
I’m not worried by technical issues with bikes in fact I enjoy the challenge
They only bikes that I’ve had to pickup out of the bush was my DRZ with a hole in the clutch cover (I now recommend case savers) and Sam’s CRF250 with an electrical problem (bloody ADR addition designed by an apprentice I think)
I’m sure you’ll enjoy every minute of riding it, just spray your kill switches after washing
Adam.
Murph,
I’m interested in this one :woohoo:
What time do you expect to be finishing ?
Going to the movies at Tuggerah @ 4pm with the boss
Will I make it
Adam.
Boony wrote:Ok before I sign anything I need to pick some brains in relation to my possible purchase, what do yous know.aboutout09 yamaha XT 250s.If your going dual sport you may want to go a bigger motor
But I know that will never happen
Adam.
Scotty
Long time no see. Now I know why
I’m up for this one even though the forecast is for 32
I’ll have to keep my speed up to keep cool
Early start maybe
Any idea where :silly:
Adam.
Boony wrote:could be on the cards???
not sure which team yet?Boony
As long as it’s not the “OTHER” team (not that there’s anything wrong with that  )
You’ll get ribbed which ever way you go
You’ll enjoy a new bike what ever your decision
Adam.

I would like to get out for a ride, but unable to register it due to lack of a reciept.
Hopefully I will have it registered before the holidays run out. It’s torture just having it just sitting there & not being able to ride it!
Also do you know any history of the bike?No excuses accepted The Chad
It would be lucky if it had done more that 500km with Stuart. It needs a manual cam chain tensioner, and case savers. An oil change goes without saying as it would have been a couple of years since it’s last.
Get onto Thumpertalk and read the bike specific stuff on DRZ’s it will help

Adam.
Happy New Year to all :woohoo:
And thanks to TB and Chris for all their efforts in keeping the site going
and to those that keep it clean
See you on a ride soon :woohoo:
Adam.
The Chad,
Still waiting for you to post your maiden voyage on your new bannana so we can all tag along
Adam.

Has anyone with a DRZ ever had battery problems ?
I would love to buy a new Berg 390 or 450 but the lack of a kickstarter scares the shit out of me.
Aido,
Was out riding with Burgie09 (DRZ) and he had his regulator fail, then flat battery.
He would park if we stopped where he could roll start it
We were riding in sand at one stage and had to tow start him as there was no way we could push it fast enough. :pinch:
As it happened he kept stalling due to a faulty kick stand switch which was promptly bypassed
If you were by yourself it may be difficult  however I was never stuck anywhere with my DRZ, well not due to not starting anyway
Adam.
