Murph,
Tell Tim his girl can come too
We need someone with a level head to make sure we don’t tackle anything more than we can handle
I guess that means either you or Damo will have to keep Darran entertained now
See you in the morning
Adam.
damien087 wrote:I’ll be bring Darran as wellThat’s good
It will give Tim someone to play with whilst we take some of the chicken tracks
Adam.

Adam.
damien087 wrote:I might have to jump on this haven’t ridden for awhile though :dry:No worries Damo, it won’t be too hard, and nothing you haven’t ridden before
Adam.
Murph,
At $42 v $217.15 for genuine you could even drill the magnet hole and still go nowhere near the cost of the genuine.
Having said that genuine at parts pit stop is $86.08. 👿
I wonder if the local shops are surprised people shop elsewhere.
Adam.
Thanks LC and Danny for a great weekend :woohoo:
Friday had a good mix of singles, technical stuff and twisty twin track with little dust as the showers earlier in the week kept the ground damp
Only holdup was Sam’s flat and then the pinched spare tube :pinch:  Thanks Bernie for the loner
We finished earlier than expected which meant we had plenty of time to settle into our digs at Merry Beach :cheer:
Saturday had some dust, you can’t predict where the rains going to fall  I thought after Fridays ride we would have been fine
I had a shocker of a start, losing it in a rut and a ripper on a steep down hill :pinch:
Lucky all the armour we wear does its thing
The track that stands out for me on Saturday was the muddy track :woohoo:
We did it one way in the morning and it had some really boggy sections with a heap of options, most dodgy  Then in the arvo we hit it again the other way :woohoo:
The fun thing was you knew their were dodgy sections and still had know idea which one to take
I tried to wave Murph past so I could follow and let him see which option to take, or not to take as the case may be however he was using me for that very purpose
A few good chases back through other singles finally saw us at our digs and with a wash, copious amounts of beer, prawns, dinner, wine and apple cider ensuring a sleepless night and doughy head for Sundays ride  :pinch:  :woohoo:
Saturday nights rain was music to my ears, as I wasn’t sleeping, at least I knew it wasn’t going to be dusty :cheer:
What a cracker, Matt did really well even though the landscape had changed due to logging
I really enjoyed the rain forest track too :woohoo: Total respect was required for the tree roots
and I saw a few who failed to show their respect   Did I mention the rocks were slippery too
Chasing G Mac chasing Murph was one of the highlights for me until we came past one of many bee hive areas. Murph went wide of the hives and G Mac with me following went between. Murph and G Mac met, stopped and exchanged pleasantries deciding who should give way whilst I’m stuck with a billion (yes a billion) bees buzzing around me
A quick shout of lets get the f#@! out of here saw Murph take off with everyone behind getting going as fast as they could
The track that followed was a pearler :woohoo: and it was one that we had to return on :woohoo:
A great weekend
Thanks to Pikey who took over sweep duties on the dusty Saturday, he looked a classic when he took his helmet off at the end  And I know he’s a tuff bugger because he uses dencorub for toothpaste and only complained that it wouldn’t froth up
Thanks to everyone else that came to make it an enjoyable weekend
Adam.
Rode something very similar in the Philippines awesome. :woohoo:
Ours was a Yamaha, be careful with potholes.
Adam
LC4skin wrote:Whoops. Sorry Adam, I thought Pikey was with you not Gmac. Doh.Pikey’s in our cabin too, but is driving back Sunday morning.
I hope you’ve gotten some of the rain we’ve been having. Good soaking rain here
Adam.
LC4skin wrote:Calling, Nick119, Gmac, Mr Squiggle, Peg Leg and Storky. Can you please let me know what days you are planning on riding?
I’m getting a list together so I know how many to expect each day
Matt,
Gmac is travelling with Sam and I and will be riding the three days
Adam.
Boonster,

andy29 wrote:Well 4 of us turned up to show the newbie around…one phone call to rick who was still in bed
bit confused with the day.. we rode sat instead of the usual sun..
no idea what happened to Rayza didn’t turn up at 6:30 so we left as snowy was freezing his nuts off and couldn’t wait to jump back on the mighty sherco…
we went off riding with no plans. just to go out and look at a few of the singles and clean up some of the tracks that needed some attention… we all lead at some stage even the super sweep on the Honda got out front……….
did 60 odd km.. by 12:30. demus main roaded back due to loosing his chain guide..
ROCKY HILL is no more it is now FREE WAY hill as they have cleaned it up with a dozer :woohoo: :woohoo:
SANDY HILL we all love have had some attention to and is also now a freeway to the top
though as we on shercos, 2 smokes, and a Honda we went the hard core route 👿 👿 and took on the new single around. I’m sure Adam will love this new track on his next visit…
Thank for putting on the ride Raza hope to see you on the next one….
Andy..
Andy,
You found me a track with knee deep ruts, crankcase high slippery tree roots and rock step ups all on an off camber slope
Can’t wait :woohoo:
Adam.
Happy Birthday Jeffro :woohoo:
Have a good one
Adam.
Happy Birthday Mick :woohoo:
50 down and 50 to go
Have a good one
Adam.
