Whilst on activist patrol and in an attempt to catch them in the act 👿 I managed to get this video of some of the seniors

It beggars belief that someone would try to cause an accident to a competitor by throwing things onto a track, in any form of race or sport  People don’t have the right to protest against an event or sport with those sorts of tactics 👿 There are children in these events, and if there attitude to other people is that low then the only place for them is prison
Luckiliy no one was injured, but it really was luck
Adam.
The video of Sam and the penny-farthing.

Friday evening at Mick’s had its fun, and a top entree’ from She who must be obeyed
It was devoured in a matter of moments
Moose’s hospitality was also exceptional with his boss trying to keep us in line and administer first aide to her daughters guest  She sure had her hands full
I would like to bag Rebore for having to rescue him however that would be the pot calling the kettle black as most of the sweeping we did was of each other
On the previous snotty hill I danced to the top with the kato after alot of wheelspin in the boggy section  luckily to land the bike with only a bent number plate  Then throughout the day on occasion we both had an intimate relationship with the hill until near the end when Rebore decided the best way to approach the hill was Ertzberg style
As I waited near the bottom Rebore decided to try a different rut as there were many to choose from. I’m not sure what actually happened however what I saw was Rebore’s front end rear up near the top of the hill  then him slip off the rear of the bike onto his feet, then the big kato launch into the air  it went way high, did a flip and landed upside down at the top of the hill  spectacular stuff   we picked up the bike, dusted it off and carried on with me hoping everyone saw it
It was a great weekend’s riding even though it was the backup venue, it was a credit to Protty and his team
Although I’m nowhere near any of the competitors ability its great to ride the tracks the experts ride and to push faster and faster, well as fast as the heart muscle will allow anyway  I learn alot from these sweep days and have a great time with a bunch of great blokes doing it.
Adam.
At this point I just want to thank Mick and his family for their hospitality Friday evening, and a very big thankyou to Moose and his family for accommodating and feeding us all Friday and Saturday night.
You all are a credit to your community
More to come when I can get my head around it all
So much to tell I don’t know where to start

How can Suzuki justify $495 ????
No wonder people shop overseas
Adam.
Looked but could not find @TT. Do you have a link please?
Prices have gone up since the last time but still cheaper than Suzuki Aus, but then again where isn’t
Adam.
You couldn’t cut that any finer
It would have made interesting footage if he didn;t make it
Must have been a buzz though
Adam.
Mick,
Sam and I are still up for it :woohoo:
A ride is a ride we don’t care where it is
Although I bet Protty is dissapointed, but good to see he had a plan ‘B’
We can get there earlier Friday if that will help
Adam.
mal5.1 wrote:Great photo report Lotsa.Geeezzz Adam you’re gunna wear that 350 out before the end of the year mate.
Have you been to work since you got it? You seem to be doing 3 rides a week. :woohoo:
I am enjoying my temporary semi retirement
however work is slowly picking up again so the rides will be spaced out a bit more
except of course the rides we do when we work away :woohoo:
Adam.
Trailboss wrote:Yes Adam I know where you are coming from and I AGREE but also it’s the Internet mate and once it’s there it’s every bodies, sorry just saying.Let’s just wait and see what happens it may be run elsewhere it maybe cancelled
Again we need to wait.
I have found heaps more Internet pictures and posts about the weekend anyway so it could have been sourced anywhere
TB
TB your correct its there for everyone to see, but its not there for them to use in any fashion without permission.
They can’t have it both ways, they need to comply with the laws of the land just like we do.
Adam.
Thanks to the boys for a very enjoyable ride :woohoo:
Tryhard took us on some great tracks and it was a great ride to learn the new bike :cheer:
Came unstuck a couple of times till the bike and I got an understanding of each other
The understanding was the bike goes where it wants and I just hang on
This was especially the case coming down Hitchcocks where I thought I was gone for all money as I was laying on the handlebars bouncing over rocks and stumps but somehow managed to recover
Having said that the 350 was a joy to ride and I have absolutly no regrets parting with the DRZ
The photo of me going under the tree is a good example of where a lighter bike is a godsend
Thanks Tryhard for leading, to Gavb for sweeping and Alfie and Lotsa for some laughs.
Adam.
Did the person ask the photographer permission to use the photo of a person crossing the creek ?
Did the person ask my permission to use my son’s photo who is a minor ? NO.
An extract from legal advise regarding photography of people
“Certain photographs of people may amount to exploiting the persons concerned or misrepresenting the truth”
I think this is the case if the photo of my son is being used to say he was doing something illegal which he wasn’t.
If you think this is inappropriate then delete it but it has gotten the hairs on my back up !

A video of a log across an overgrown forestry track and Sam’s antics trying to get Merv to ride over it and not take the chicken route
I don’t know what happened to the phone whilst videoing but you’ll get the drift

Top footage and some fun looking tracks
Next time I’m up that way I’ll make sure I have my bike so I can tag along
Adam.
LC4skin wrote:There is a nice camping area were I always park, haven’t had any problem with stuff going missing.Follow the main road into forest for about 500m turn right onto Dalys Rd follow that for about 300m, there are toilets there too.
Be careful using the single track, apparently the rangers have been getting a bit cranky lately.
Thanks LC we’ll park there, and thanks for the singles tip we’ll keep an eye out
It may have been where Merv was heading us but you never know
See you next time Wazzup, we’ll try to manage without you
Adam.
teza h wrote:OK all good, where abouts will we be leaving the vehicles?
Merv has a spot picked out on the main track into the forest.
Don’t bring anything of value other than yourself and your bike (of course) that way there’s nothing to pinch (I hope)
