Has anyone done any work on the motor previously ?
One area to be aware of is flywheel removal.
The end of the crank has an oil gallery and if damaged can affect oil flow to the bearings.
No other ideas sorry, looks like a few dollars are going to be thrown at it though

Teza
I have the solution to your problem

Don’t fall off
  :kiss:Adam
You might need to start carrying a fire extinguisher with you Teza
Lucky it wasn’t summer
Adam.
I’ve taken out a tree or two as well  (Gavb can bear witness to that)
Plenty of damage to the pride  a bruise or two
Twisted guards and squished radiators :S
But the DRZ pulled through, so with any luck yours will be OK too

Please explain?
STM
I rang Tania (I think it was) to book and she said she needed to contact the organizer and would then call me back.
She didn’t give any details as to why she would be contacting you
Thats all I can tell you.

It details the how to’s and why’s of doing this

Its easy to do and if true can save alot of heart ache :S I do it whenever I change a front sprocket and have 20000 kms on the clock

Mick,
Thankyou for a great weekend
The experience was awsome and I had a great time trying to keep up with the 85’s and trying to keep ahead of the 65’s on Sunday :laugh:Saturday I managed to go from one bog hole to another, starting with the creek crossing on the seniors track, then ending up with Rebore, Fossil and the other boys that took turns at the bog hole and slippery hill from hell on the juniors track
At one stage at the juniors hill from hell there was a bike laying on the ground rider on ground and three sweeps also lying on the ground two of whom were sliding down the hill heading for the boggy creek, man it was slippery
To give you an idea the seniors rode the same section on Sunday and at on stage there was a 20 bike holdup leading to the closure of that section. Gotta hand it to the juniors they persisted with that hill all Saturday and none gave up

One funny moment for me was waking Rebore on Sunday, I gave him a shake and he woke up swinging  He must have been dreaming of one of his bouts with Mike Tyson
It was a fantastic weekend, met a few more Old Bulls, got to ride at a fantastic venue, and watch some of the best riders going round. :woohoo:
Next time I’ll make sure I have a new rear tyre, it may help save me from the embarrassment of falling off in the first bog hole in front of pit lane on the pre race sweep. Hopefully everyone was too busy preping their bikes to have noticed
Thanks for a great weekend guys

Adam.
Not sure which post to reply to fist
About to pack and we’re still coming :woohoo:
Try and stop us at your peril (insert greenie name here) 👿

I would say you’d be pushing your luck by 8pm. That is only a guess.
No worries Mick.
Were aiming for 6:30 but you never know

If it is cancelled at the last minute. We will still do a good ride…somewhere. :S
Most likely Bago or the Cells.
I’m a firm believer in a contingency plan and this one sounds like a ripper

So barring hail (and I’ve been on Old Bulls rides in that too  ) it’ll be a great weekend :woohoo:
Can’t wait :woohoo:

We’ve had 24mm in 2 hours with a total of 93mm since yesterday evening  however it has eased off for the moment.
Our creek has flooded and washed away our back access track so I my have to swim to save the tractor (make that Sam as he left it out  )
Still looking forward to the weekend :woohoo:
We’ll be up Friday arvo not sure what time yet
