Thanks to all for a great weekend. Mal for leading us around and Crash for his sweeping. Also thanks to Ghostrider for the extra hand picking me up on the single trail just before lunch (he was unlucky enough to be behind me). I rode the same trail the day before without a single off but for some reason on Saturday I couldn’t find my rhythm and was down as often as a brides nickers on wedding night.
Sam was dissapointed he missed the arvo singles loop, a good lesson on getting on with the job and not stuffing around as young fellas tend to do. :laugh:
The storm on Saturday provided a heavy downpour which didn’t worry us too much however the hail tended to sting a bit :ohmy: At least it helped to blast some of the mud off.
Now just waiting for the rain to stop at home so I can set the gear up again to dry it all out. Oh the joys of camping in the rain. :S
See you all on the next one.
Adam.
PS will see if Merv got any decent footage on his camera and upload it when we work out how.
I will also bring along some firewood.

Good to see your nearly back together Rob. Its a pity you did hurt yourself as the entertainment you and Dave provided was excellent value
. Let us know when your planning another ride, I thouroughly enjoyed riding in your neighbourhood
.

Adam.Mal please add Sam and myself to the list. :cheer: We’ll be there Friday arvo hopefully before the Friday afternoon traffic kaos.

Further to XY-Transit I have used this model from Jaycar. Its IP55 rated. http://www.jaycar.com.au/productResults3.asp?keywords=yx2522&keyform=KEYWORD&SUBMIT.x=21&SUBMIT.y=11
I also use a thermal switch, as a thermostat to control the fan.

Had the system for at least a year now with no problems plus the fans are cheap to replace.Adam.
Know how you feel Action. Have done that once or twice myself. I find I need to pay particular attention to where the lever tip is when re fitting the tyre. I remember I holed the tube twice on one occasion i.e. put the tyre on and put a hole in the tube, took it off again then holed it putting it on the second time. You think you would learn wouldn’t you
. That was on a JR80, those little tyres are a real bugger. Anyway persistance is the key, NEVER give up

The young fella and I had a good time. Sam was impressed by how TB and King Crash manoeuvred those tractors around (so was I). Rob and his mate went fine until they tried to out do each other, (maybe we should keep them seperated
)
Thanks to Rob for calling the ride, TB, King Crash and Factoryphill for keeping us from getting lost and the others for some light entertainment and laughs. I will see you all on the next ride
.

Sam and I can only stay for a couple of beers. Well me anyway Sam will be chauffeur for the trip home as I got the early shift for the trip up there. She who must be obeyed has a family function on for us early Sunday.
It will be an early start for us but we hope to get there in time for brekky, we will bring stuff for that.
See you all Saturday (Merv note the spelling
)
Adam.
Sam and I are willing and able if numbers aren’t full. Also we have no problem helping others to push up hill. (Have plenty of practice pushing shit up hill at work so a trailbike or two won’t be a problem).
Adam.
What grade do you expect this ride will be and how far?
Adam.
Morgo
Merv & I are keen for this one if thats alright. Will need you PM us the address.

Fitted a Trailtech Vapor to an 06 crf250x no problems. I picked up the tacho and power off the original speedo (crack in the original speedo caused the display to go black). Fitted the speedo pickup as per the instructions and fitted the temperature sensor as per the instructions. All works well. If you decide to go that way I can give you the colours for the power and tacho if you need.
With the Vapor speedo you could then see what your maximum temperature gets to and decide if you have issues with getting too hot (your bike at least anyway).
Adam.
See you about 8:00. We found a loop 2 weeks ago, a fair bit of work to get through though.
Adam.
Rode with you in Ourimbah a few months back, no worries with grade 2-3.
