Well what a top weekend :woohoo:
Thanks to the Tamworth boys for putting it on, and a special thanks to Snowy, Boony, Aaron and Damus who all swept, not an easy task in such dusty conditions.
Andy did it easy Saturday in air conditioned comfort
(except for changing two tyres  :pinch: ) but gave it a good crack Friday on the bike
Sundays ride was a cracker, Buzz had us buzzing
a couple of minor issues one seeing a WR with a leaky radiator heading back to town left us with six riders and the pace was on, no time spent on the corner, by the time you stopped Aaron was waving you on :woohoo:
Thanks to all that came as its the crew that makes a ride
Till the next one.
Adam.
Sam’s still working on his bike
I guess he’ll be ready
We’ll see 😆

Always nice going on one of Adams rides, and also great to catch up with Tryhard and meet the other boys. Hopefully I didnt make you wait to long. I went to bed at 8:30 last night and slept like a log till 7 this morning  I was knackered.
PS thanks Adam for the Beer went down a treat.
PSS I think I left a rear mat from the Triton at the Tennis courts if any one is near there,be good to get it back.
OllieSam picked it up on his way home from work yesterday

I’m sure it would be better not towing and pushing a bike through it though
Joe said it would be a good track on a cool morning
Adam.
Snowy,
Looks like all that practice has paid off :woohoo:

Well it was two big days :woohoo:
Saturday I knew what was coming  Andy, you bailed at the right time
it only gets harder from where you left off
I enjoyed the Basin Run, and even did a hill I hadn’t done before
Sunday I started out like a total gumby  I couldn’t do a thing right
And I knew there was some difficult terrain coming
Luckily I was consistent, I was no worse on the hard stuff  I had a couple of lucky escapes
The temperature reached 37 at Cooranbong (the closest recorded town to where we were riding) at 2pm  No wonder it felt hot :pinch:
A good feed and a cool down prepped me for the trip back, I actually improved
I couldn’t have gotten any worse
I took a wrong turn onto a single and I was on fire, Gordon trying to chase me down finally caught me at a corner when I didn’t see anyone and realized something was wrong  It added a fun bit to the ride  :woohoo:
Thanks Murphs’ for a top weekend and your hospitality :cheer:
And thanks Dude for sweeping, as usual a top job
Thanks to everyone else that came along and making it a ride to remember
Vids to come later.

Pep still carries a spare puddle in his backpack
Parachute hill is as much fun going up as going down
your dehydrated when your on your 4th beer 2 cokes and 2l of gatorade and havnt had a leak yet.We need to rethink a few trails and may have to have plans a b c and d and see how people handlethe heat which is a factor we have never had to account for in a Nundle ride.
We are looking at starting the saturday and sunday rides earlier than planned and shorteningup the Friday ride. You will need at least 70km range however you want to do it for saturday and a refuel point will be available or we will organise atrailer to meet us. More importantly make sureyou carry plenty of water the creeks are all pretty well dry apart from a bit of carp urine. Our Tamworth supply dams are at 50 and 38 % capacity and the one with 50 % has less capacity than most toilet bowls. So that may givee you an idea of the current forest conditions. Long range forcast has the trails being preped the week leading up to the ride and temps back in the mid 20’s so heres hoping.
Im off for another beer !
Snowy,
You don’t know the meaning of the word heat

Just bring it on :woohoo:
