He said that to have the DRZ done over front and back with a rear shock rebuild would be $550. with a one day turn around. Only down side is he is in Perth for the safari and wont be back until the 14th or 15thThats a really good price smurf, the springs alone are $410.00 But a bit far for me to send
Chad quoted me 650 to do front and rear on my WR.You should ring him boulder he is quite a character.

how many times have you polished it mate, while looking at the bike:laugh:
I pick it up on saturday morning,i am going to have a few rides before i do the suspension.I would like to get it done before the snow ride tho.
My brother in-law had a WR 250 and it was phat straight out of the box, the WR450 he bought after it was the most disappointing new bike I have ever ridden and on advice from a 450 owner he had the forks done and it made it such a different bike, so much better
TB
I intend on getting it done TB but i have to wait for Chad from Chads Offroad to return from the Safari in WA.I tried to get it done by the dealer but they use Chad also.

Quote:Hey Boony,
I had mine done and there is no comparrison to the original springs. I weigh in at a shade under 130kg along with a long range tank and now have confidence in leaning and turning the bike. If the person doing the work know what they are on about they should be able to set it up to your style/liking.Where did you get yours done Jak? I will need to gaet my Wr done when i pick it up.
I know what what your talking about Moto.I have only been riding 18 months and some days its still feels like i dont know what im doing.I have just traded up from my 250 to a 450,im shitting myself:laugh: starting to ride is the best thing i have done in one hell of a long time,it doesnt matter whats going on in your life when your on your bike all you worry about is that little piece of dirt ahead of you.

So they keep telling me. Funny thing is I ride the same trails at the same pace and turn up at the same locations as everybody else. Must just be my riding talent, or everyone elses lack off.
X2 Scotty. Could not agree more.
Probably not the same pace but thats only because of my riding ability. Not the bikes fault.
FYI adrians new bike comes with a vercro seat and roll cage.
LOL Jak:laugh: And i hope i dont need to use it!

They mostly use 530 Katos here in mexico and the wollopers have the attitude to match thier bikes.

Great pictures and ride report sirdropalot.i can see where your name comes from.looks like you guys had a ball with no real injuries which is always good.i dont feel so bad about my stack at wombat after seeing it happen to someone else.
Hey sir menace,I was wondering if there is any chance of me bringing another mate on your fantastically organised ride.he is just coming back from a knee op and was feeling sorry for himself when i booked the placings. In hindsight i should have just paid the deposit for him because i knew this was going to happen.I hope you can find it in your very large heart to accomadate my request. Thanks in advance your faithfull sweep rider and ditch diver Adrian.

maybe, maybe not
Hopefully everyone is fit and healthy this morning

Typical of a yellow bike rider, cant handle a real bike and cant handle thier grog.
