Did you contact Scott, tex?
God doesn’t make any sense when stuff like that happens mate – I’d explain it to in relation to life and how we need to embrace what we have because we’re only mortal and let him grow to make his own decision about the religous side of it.
I’ve had a couple of dogs die and I agree, its not fair. It doesn’t help to think of it but I often wonder why there’s sickos out there that deserve no mercy and life a long life yet some good people/dogs have such hardship and ill fate.
Its better to have loved and lost than to have never loved at all
RIP PHIL.

Great reports guys! I had to check I was still in the same thread after reading about TB’s radiator, interesting to see everyone’s view of what happened from their experience and from all accounts there was a lot to experience!
Thanks guys but Scott’s doing all the work all I did was call him and post up and I’ve benefitted from it.
Thanks to OBT for setting up the sponsors that give us these deals and the sponsors themselves for coming through for us.
Local dealers quoted me about $240 for a set picked up from the shop!
It would be best to give him a call ranger I don’t know how often Scott checks this place.
Mate if you’re worried about it then you might want to pay for the piece of mind!
Thanks mate
Freeze rides an 03 WR250.
Freeze, are you saying you do the regular oil changes yourself? Valves are very easy to check yourself but I’d recommend you ask them if you can watch over their shoulder so you learn to do it yourself. Some mechanics might get precious about that but checking valve clearance can be done in the time it takes to load the bike on a trailer so they should understand it’s not worth you bringing it in everytime you want to check them.
If it hasn’t had a look over it might be worth your while though. What needs checking on the fork seals? I thought they either seal or leak and you’d know which based on looking at the forks? Do you know how to check your bearings? Linkage? Engine mounts. Are your brakes spongey/need bleeding? is your oil clean when you drop it? Are you using oil or blowing smoke?
Ollie might be able to comment on Hornsby procycles, if he doesn’t see this maybe PM him.
Cheers.
I thought we’d get more buyers but its gone quiet so I’ve contacted Battye’s and I’m now waiting for a return call to sort out the details to move this forward.
Thanks guys.
Do you have a magnetic sump bolt? Might be worthwhile installing one next time if you don’t.
[maxwell smart] The old catapult in the river trick hey! Missed it by that much![/ms]
