    Despite pastrana’s brief success in enduro racing, the FMX crowd don’t appear to have taken to river crossings like ducks to water shall we say!

    In an attempt to allow other brands to podium a modern enduro race the KTM’s are now subject to man traps in the latest revision of rules as this fella found out the hard way!

    So elaborate on warm up guys. I was caught out the other saturday showing up late and I only let the bike idle for a couple of minutes before slowly taking off. Kept it well off the pipe until I could feel heat in the radiators through my gloves. Normally I’d let her idle a while longer first then similar behaviour to follow.

    What different bikes! I’ve ridden both and I reckon if you forgot you were on the honda and twisted the throttle like you need to on the KLX you’d end up standing at the lights with the bike no longer between your legs as it hurtled down the road. Bloody weapon those pink 450s.

    I would assume that if it were a WR250YZ (or is it YZ250WR?) they’d note that and Mr Blue may even tell us if the frame is the same?

    I didn’t buy my first set brand new but the only part you could possibly need if it didn’t come with it is a split pin though I reckon it would. You re-use the stock locking bolt but if you’ve never removed your pegs chances are the split pin will be stuffed.

    I’m bored at work so in case you’re not sure what a split pin is….

    3 more to go and we’re moving people! I’m sure there was more hands in the air on saturday when this was suggested so I’m waiting for those guys to speak up.

    If you showed interest on saturday but only put your hand up because everyone else was feel free to speak up so i don’t hang out for nothing. We all understand, peer pressure can get to all of us 😆

    I just looked up the pivotpegz site and it says

    Yamaha 1999-2006 YZ & WR 125-250 PP-02MK2

    So I’m sure you’re fine Freeze. BTW nothing wrong with the 03 WR – I almost bought one as my first bike 18months ago and there’s a good reason they’re so popular. Being blue always help they just need to lighten up a shade or so ;)

    Post number 1000 for me! Thanks to everyone that has contributed to the site and especially to those who have helped answer all the questions I’ve had throughout those thousand posts. I’ve learnt a lot through that time and I owe those lessons to you blokes.

    cheers.

    I mustn’t have been clear – work out what sutto can do you a deal on so you know what’s in your budget then go try it on at the local place then when you find what fits best get sutto to mail it down to you once you’ve found what fits. ‘sif I’d suggest stuffing a sponsor around – there’s plenty of prick dealerships you could go to for that.

    Hope that clears it up.

    My highlights were;

    Passing AB whilst we were both doing sequential fish tails.

    I’m pretty sure this was it at 30s in. You can’t see what the back end of my bike is doing though which is a shame because it would be a lot of fun to have the full view through some of the slippery bits like this.
