I managed to get my V3 for $350 with a nice bag all on special. Hit suttos up for prices and then go try on whatever he recommends at the local places.

I’m sure Sutto’s experience would guide him well but I tend to think phone orders are more likely to guarantee the right part gets dispatched. It gives the buyer and Suttos the chance to discuss if it is the right part for the intended bike/use and also discuss if there’s a better alternative. That said, for simple parts I reckon online ordering could be quicker for Mal as long as he clearly stated the disclaimer that “you get the part number you ask for and if it isn’t in stock we’ll notify you and reject payment until it is ready for dispatch” and politely told people not to whinge if they bought a honda sticker kit for their pit bike because they looked a similar pink colour.
blah blah blah – that’s why it can start getting sticky I reckon and being online means you’re susceptible to being blindsided by whingers that stuff up their own order and choose to blame you. Good luck with it.
p.s I’m under 30 but already 90% devon head so I fit in perfect round these parts :p
Sorry about that other thing you edited I quickly posted before I left for work then sat in the car and slapped my head when I realised what I did. Saves you slapping it
Thanks again.
10mm i.d (I used a measuring tape and got 10.5mm but I reckon 3/8″ would be fine
16mm o.d (this shouldn’t matter)
and 700mm length. If that’s too much length to put in a post bag let me know mate. Cheers for the effort, chuck in a couple of stickers and I’ll add them as my first sponsor
Cheers.

It’s only my 2c but I reckon if you did something like a “Feb 2010 cattle dog.pdf” and had that available for download I reckon you’d kill it. From that you could either keep it as a site download or put it on a mailing list. I work in an open office and don’t like calling up all the time so it’s handy being able to browse the current lot of goods. It also means I can print it out and read it when I’m…. yeah when I go somewhere quiet and alone to read  then I can circle bits and leave it around for the missus to find for hintsSites like OBT and those other mugs could even link it in a sticky for users to look to for the latest catalogue
To clarify, I’m under 30 so when I say mailing list I mean email 😆 Chuck a subscribe to link next to the download and people can have the cattle dog emailed when it’s available.
There was a downhill section at the start where about 8 bikes were in a very tight group descending and having some fun over the erosion berms and although it wasn’t the fastest way down it sure looked great.

Another of the same spot in portrait view.
We shared a moment out there alone….
I jumped off to go read a sign and get a grip and when I turned around to walk back I couldn’t help but take in the moment with my bike. I don’t like getting lost accidentally but I do love being alone out in the bush and this pic has a lot of beauty I reckon

Perhaps it’d be worth updating the ride grading sticky with a “suggested ride briefing” to help make sure as many of us are playing off the same sheet of music as possible.
