My cup o’tea’s gorn cold innit!
Why didn’t TB tell me they don’t have internets in the shearer’s quarters now I have to gibber in real speak

Perhaps the on the fly tuning will improve with EFI. Alternatively maybe you could run a different accelerator throttle cam to adjust to slippery conditions that require less instant power for traction.
I’ll have a chat with shane about how he’s marketing them next time I’m in the shop. I’m still curious what I’d progress to when I’m ready for a new bike but I feel like I’m left with either a 310 or a 250 with a big bore kit. I’ve ridden the 300 but I’m a way off needing a bike that powerful yet so perhaps I should ride the 200 and 250 to compare.
Cheers.
So what are the pros and cons of a 390 or 400 vs a 450? I’m curious since from what I understand they weigh the same so expected that it would rev faster and be more responsive. If its just less power than you may as well de-tune a 450 with a map switch.
What am I missing?
Yeah fair enough too so my apologies.
I was trying to get my mate to come out and that would’ve meant grade 2 but since he can’t come I’m open to the masses for anything up to grade 4. I have a couple of other blokes (from off the site) that are interested for saturday and they will be comfortable with grade 4 but on sunday its just me and novice so far.
I’ll clear up the first post to make it clearer hey.
I’m interested to hear what you 450 riders thought of the power, revability and weight of the 400 and 390 compared to your machines.
I think I just did a suzuki out my yamaha and I don’t have any tp
Bump for the changes in plans! See edits above.
Kicked over fine this arvo and I got temp in it and gave it a rev and no sign of oil out the vent hose and definitely no blue smoke. I might take it for a ride later in the week but I think its good to go for the weekend!
Thanks again for the help guys its much appreciated.
Edit: KGB can’t make it so the plans for grade 2 are now scrapped. Grade 4 ride on saturday and if anyone is keen on sunday. I’ll update the first post too.
Novice I’ll be keen for a couple of hours ride sunday if you are. That can be grade 4 if you like as it’ll just be me that day.
Cheers.

Haha cheeky bugger! Thanks again. I might duck down to broadmeadow and pick up some more plugs too since I’ve fouled the spare slightly. Once they’re fouled are they cactus or just clean it in petrol?
